NYDA 50ml (92% Dual Formula Dimeticone)

THIS WORKS!!After using so many other treatments without success,and after reading reviews on this NYDA treatment I was sceptical.After my daughter catching them again from school,we applied this in the evening,treatment is in a a pump bottle,easy to spray all over the hair,my daughter has thick long hair,and we useded half a bottle,was so so easy to apply.Just make sure you use this in the bathroom,unlike me and had a big mess of oil spray on my lounge floor!!The product had a slight smell,but nothing unpleasant at all.Following instructions,left the product in my daughters hair for the night,just tied it all up in a tiny bun!We shampooed the hair twice,as it does leave a oily residue,and much to my disbelief and complete relief No More Nits!Ecstatic! Daughters hair was nice and shiny too.I have actually used this a further two times after my daughter unfortunately got them again from school(very frustrating) but at least I know now with NYDA this stuff actually worksI Recommend this product 100%Don't waste you're money on other useless treatments like me!!

I thought that I'd try Nyda when my daughter picked up nits at school. I found the pump really hard to use, you needed to really push it down hard and that wasn't possible while trying to also smooth it onto the hair etc. In the end I took the pump off and just poured it on her hair! My son, who has much shorter hair was a lot easier to do and I used the pump for him but it still hurt my thumb. I combed them with a nit comb after 30 minutes and the comb did go through well and I got out way more than I'd got before putting the Nyda on. I left it on overnight, it says that it is non greasy but I would disagree with this, both had greasy looking hair in the morning so I wouldn't put it on and go out, better to use overnight. It washed off quite easily and my daughter immediately stopped itching. So it did work thankfully!! Nearly two weeks later there's no sign of more so I haven't treated again.

having tried for a few weeks with off the shelf treatments unsuccessfully to get rid of nits on my daughter, I went to my pharmacist to see what else I could try. She recommended this and had this behind the counter, after first treatment, went completely. I think the fact it stays in overnight helps as it allows s longer period of time to kill all eggs. It is very easy to use, hair is soft and easily combed, my daughter has thick wavy hair and there was no problem using the comb with this. Washed well and smells pleasant. I now keep a bottle in just in case and have no hesitation in recommending to others, I work in a school so have passed this on lots! Costs the same as other treatments but in my opinion, much more effective.

Does kill the head lice... however the smell of the product, especially overnight caused us headaches and fever the next day...

We had been been battling with head lice and nits for several months, my 4 year old son, 7 year old daughter and me, their mum. It was exhausting and really getting me down as I tried all the top brands but none of them worked - we would always find more lice a week after the second application. Until I was recommended NYDA by a Mum of 3 girls at school and she was right. It really is the only one the works. The smell isn’t the most pleasant but within minutes of applying you could see the little critters dying. Once you wait a minimum of 30 minutes you comb out the dead lice and all the nits that are still stuck on the shaft of the hair. You must follow the instructions, like other brands, and reapply 7-10 days later but the results are fantastic. We saw no lice but continued to use overnight to kill any remaining nit eggs that might have survived the first application. A week later we combed through and there was nothing left. Truly amazing. I couldn’t recommend this product enough.

Yet another outbreak of nits and itchy heads!!!! Called GP requesting prescription to be told that nit lotion is no longer available on NHS and we would have to purchase this ourselves!! Nit lotion is very expensive and if the entire family needs to be treated it can cost a small fortune especially if there are children with long thick hair. Unfortunately, I had too use the product myself and have thick shoulder length hair and only used 1/2 the bottle (The instructions states that you must use all the product but I only used what was needed and it worked perfectly) I have tried many nit lotion products in the past and I feel that this product is one of the best. I was concerned about the size of the bottle believing it would not cover waist length hair but it does. It is very oily allowing for easy application. The lotion is applied to dry hair and must be left on for a minimum of 8 hours and is very easy to wash out also there is no horrid smell too it . The hair does not become dry or matted once washed out allowing you to go through the hair with ease. (there is also a nit comb provided) The lotion DID kill all the critters and eggs with the one application. I would recommend this product as it really does work.

If I could give it minus I would. TOTAL WASTE of time and money!!! Tried on daughter and me, left overnight, so more than 8 hours, still nits found the day after treatment and still here!!! Conditioner and nit comb works better than this!!

Worked with only 1 application. Was simple to use, but a bit messy for my toddler, as it needs to stay on for 8 hours and it's very oily... Spent most the day following her around trying to get her not to brush her hair against anything and everything! I might invest in a cheap shower cap to cover it next time. I certainly wouldn't have sent the children to bed with it on! I would buy this again though. It is effective and saves having to repeat every 7 days!
