So great not only for the business traveler but also anyone wanting to know the basics about Georgian culture!
I'm probably on a flight most weeks because of work so am very aware how important it is to understand the people and culture of the foreign country I'm visiting. But Realistically I rarely have time to read travel books or guides. This guide however was a fantastic and quick read but with so much ground and depth covered. I know it's a true potrayal of Georgian culture as Georgia is my country of birth ( so I visit it often) but have grown up in the UK most of my life. Finally there is a book that's a great and easy read I'll be recommending to all my friends who want to know about where I come from, it's the next best thing to actually visiting Georgia. If you want to know ( without having to read a massive historical or anthropological book ) what the people of georgia are like and why, then I couldn't recommend this highly enough.I read this in a day and was so impressed with the format I ordered two more books from this series for other countries I often visit for work.If you're visiting Georgia or have a Georgian friend that you haven't quite figured out yet -and would like to!- get this book!

Excellent book - informative and easy to read
As I was off to Georgia, I downloaded this book on my kindle and I was impressed. This book was easy to read, very informative and well-written. It really helped me get the most out of my trip to Georgia. It taught me a few things my friend who had lived there for two years had not known. I'd highly recommend this book for anyone travelling to Georgia.

Highly recommended to anyone who is planning to visit this country or who just wants to learn about the new country and its culture. Georgia is a fascinating place and definitely worth visiting or at least reading and learning about it and its people.

Good Read
It's already a little out of date as (at least in Tbilisi) the work ethic seems to be changing to be more like what's expected in the USA. Still, it was enlightening and enjoyable read.

This Is An Excellent Book About The Country Of Georgia.
This is an excellent book about the country of Georgia. I liked this book because I learned some new facts that I did not know before. I read this book for my personal pleasure and personal knowledge. Some of the interesting facts that the author of this book says in this book include the following information: Concerning the country of Georgia which used to be part of the former Soviet Union, Georgians don't use a Cyrillic alphabet. They have their own alphabet which is one of the world's 14 alphabets. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, English has gradually replaced Russian as the most commonly used foreign language in Georgia. In most families, two or three generations live together. The people in the cities in Georgia live in apartments. Georgian cuisine has absorbed the culinary traditions of mixtures of people. Mtsvadi (barbecued pork or beef) and Khinkali (meat dumplings) are among some of the foods that the people of Georgia love the most.

Great prep for deployment
I am preparing to move to Tbilisi and found this book invaluable. It covers all the basics you need to introduce yourself to this society without offending anyone. It also provides a great understanding of the Georgian mindset. Really useful.
