I'm glad I bought this - couldn't afford the real one
I was disinclined to buy a blatantly knock-off product, but then the original one is so expensive that I could never afford it. So expensive that I felt it reasonable to buy this. And I am glad I did. I've only taken a few photos so far but it certainly fits well on my Metz 44 flashgun and the effect seems to be all that is promised. It's a fairly complete little kit. The plastic is transclucent, more opaque than clear, it is flexible to a small extent so isn't at risk of breaking as a brittle plastic. Obviously it's a bit ungainly, but then again I wouldn't want the original product name emblazoned around the strap either (if I could afford it). I'm glad I bought this.

Cheap and cheerful Fong type diffuser
Much cheaper then the fong equivalent and very happy with the results. Brilliant for lifting unwanted shadows in facial features for portrait photography.Manuals and info in the box is a little lacking, dropping a star - and as a result I'm not too sure when and how to get the best from the other 'lids'

Wait and see !!!
It was as I expected. I bought it as a curiosity while getting a Sto Fen. I know someone who speaks highly of his so I thought I'd give it a try. I haven't had the chance to use it much but first thoughts are that it soaks up quite a lot of light. However I need to do some proper back to back tests before That is a fair observation.

I love it
After using a Gray Fong diffuser I can honestly say this is a good quality diffuser and at a great price (less than half the cost of a Fong). I would say that it is almost (98%) as good as the Fong diffuser and you can make the 2% up in talent. A bonus is that it comes with extra diffusers which Fong doesn't. I really love this diffuser and would recommend it to everyone,plus it is a better option in looks and quality than a cut up old milk bottle (plastic of course)!

Great Lightsphere knock-off for event photography
I got this as a knock-off of a much more expensive product, and even though I've never used the Gary Fong Lightsphere, this can't be far off. It diffuses and directs the light really well, and it's nice to get three attachments for it. I thought the velcro would have a tendency to slip off, but it absolutely doesn't! As an event photographer, I don't leave the house without it!

Great alternative product to the more expensive ones.
The only difference with and a real Fogg is that this one does not collapse like the Fogg one, taken a few test shots and I can't see any difference and appears to perform just as good. Added bonus of getting the additional orange and silver cap filters. I'm using it on a Godex flash and it fits real snug but also has a Velcro strap to secure it further. I'm well pleased with this purchase.
