Straight straps are pulling on my feet and I can't make them fit my feet.
I am NOT an exercise guru...I mostly use the glute exercises to strengthen where I'd suffered muscle loss due to surgery. I've seen these used (not this brand) at the YMCA and was told to get whichever was cheapest. I got this and another set for my wife.I was using these and it was killing my feet. Pulling on top of ankle. I thought I was wearing them wrong but one of the regulars said the straps are too 'straight'. They should be angles or they'd pull on the top of my foot. He also said they WERE too big (I have small feet). The metal ring (D?) keeps flipping on the top because they're not tight also.I actually bought more that were supposed to be for women sized feet (hey..no shame on small feet). I'm going to take them Saturday when I have my class....These are being sent back after several people commented that they were too loose and that they could see it pulling on the top of my foot. Even with the strap pulled reasonably short they're still loose (see pics).Jeez...the next kind up are more expensive but have angled straps....might have to try them.

Very happy with purchase
I was very suspect about these when I bought them. They didn’t seem the best quality but I decided to give them a try and am very happy with the purchase. I have used them for cable glute kickbacks and they performed really well. The true test is that I used them to suspend my feet from a TRX (basically, you’re in a push up position with your feet a few inches off the ground) and did pikes and mountain climbers. They stayed on really well. For a reference, I have only used them with ASICS running sneakers and Reebok Nano. They would definitely be loose if you wore them with chuck taylors.

Poor quality
I workout with a trainer many times a week, so I wanted to get these straps to add something new to my workouts.Unfortunately they kept opening on me during my workouts. My trainer says these are poor quality and should be returned.

Not as Thick/sturdy as the pictures look
Yea they technically do the job, but the photos make them look a lot sturdier than they are. They're really thin and annoying to get on because the front ring isn't fixed so you have to try and keep it on while you strap your foot in, or you have to take the D ring off and put it back on. Also, the color in the pics for the red looks dark pink, which is what I thought I was getting, but it's actually a tomato red.

Unsafe
Seemed like these would be a good value based on the reviews so I decided to give them a try.During warm up everything felt ok, other then it seemed to be really difficult to position my foot comfortably as the attachment point moves around a lot.Once I went to do my working sets the strap made this awful sound a few reps in, and the cable and ring went FLYING back to the cable machine!!It caused such a noise everyone stopped what they were doing to see what was going on. How EMBARRASSING & DANGEROUS. I just feel very fortunate that I didn’t injured.

False Product Material
The FLA Kickback was highly disappointing, it is not made out of what the company states in the description. The company claims to be making these kickback ankles straps out of MIL-SPEC(military specification) material. Which is the very thing that got me interested in trying the product, because MIL-SPEC material is very strong, reliable for not breaking or stretching under extreme stress. After receiving the product, the straps were flimsy and felt unsafe. Whatever this product is made out of it expanded under stress. Not even close to what is considered to be MIL-Spec. My training partner who is a former marine gave them a try as well based on the same reason in the products description saying that they were made out of MIL-Spec material. He noticed right away that the materials stated in the products description were inaccurate and not even close to military specification . The ankle strap was very thin which caused it to slip off the shoe repeatedly, along with the Velcro coming undone with minimal weight. Not Recommended

This ring on the bottom is an accident waiting to happen
Bought these things for my girlfriend to try at the gym, didn't work at all and she slipped and almost fell on this stupid D-Ring they put on the bottom. So I had her put these things back on at home so I could take a photo for the review. There is literally a D-Ring on the bottom they want you to use, that when you try and walk on will make you feel like you are constantly stepping on some hard object on some hard floor and are about to fall on your head. It's crazy.
