What I like about these..These valves I wish I knew existed when I started 6 months ago in my career. Every single time I take my service hoses off the service valves high and low side, I had refrigerant loss due to the shraeder core being depressed. That included putting on my service hoses. I can now put this valve on and zero refrigerant loss. I also used them on pulling a vacuum. The only issue I saw was that the connection to the service valves is very finicky as it relates to keeping a tight seal. Make sure that they are good and tight then add your service hoses. One negative and it needs to be said, they are 1/4 inch female so in order to service non-horizontal units, you need to buy double. That gives you a pair of 1/4 inch valves and valves that will fit your horizontal units. Best money that you will ever spend for sure. My trainers service valves were covered in refrigerant after he removed his hoses. Mine were spotless! Spend the money and buy these.

Bought this on a whim, so glad I did. Much better than valves on ends of hoses with a core depressor added when necessary. Description does not say but these are precision core depressors that back seat, making it a fingertip control service valve on the end of your hose. Don't let the low price fool you, I have used these for weeks now every day under all conditions and can't find any fault. I assume that the seals will eventually wear out, but they send an extra set with the valves so even that is covered. I am tough on tools, and these have already lasted longer than some brand name core depressors, and no O-rings to shoot out when you least expect it. Larger valve is a joy to use on mini-splits. In every situation, no more accidental Freon or oil spills with a customer looking over your shoulder.

Works great with the free online. That’s straight out. Don’t work too good with the Freon line that don’t go straight out.
