Makes a great Back Up Mic
My Thoughts:I purchased this microphone because my standard Laptop mic was not cutting it. It was letting in background noise, and sounded too low if I was not close enough. This was an issue for conference calls, review videos and skype. This microphone comes ready to roll and only requires 2 ports off your machine. One 3.5mm input and another USB slot. You may also need to select this as the default if your computer didn’t pick it up…no driver needed. It does a great job capturing just my voice and I found I like it without the foam sleeve. You can add an echo effect with the dial and control volume off the mic itself. I also like that you can unclip it and hold in your hand. My Blue Mic doesn’t have that option. The Bottom Line:Cost effective mic or 2nd back up mic for guests

Doesn't work with Mac but is a great microphone
This is a great, inexpensive microphone. The package comes with the microphone, a mesh pop screen, the cables (USB and 3.5 mm on one side and the microphone plug on the other) a desktop stand, an adapter to allow it to screw on to a tripod and instructions.Pros: - It's super easy to set up. Just plug it into the microphone and your computer and select it in your inputs and you're ready to go. - It sounds great. It includes an echo and volume knob right on the unit itself so you can change your computer volume and the microphone itself for the best sound. - Feels premium. It feels sturdy and nothing creaks or wobbles. It's all very well put together and it stays together.Cons: - Doesn't work with Mac. It would only work with Windows.I recommend this microphone for anyone looking for great sound that's also inexpensive.

difficulty working with latest round of Windows updates as of 6/1/2017
first off it doesn't work with Windows 10 latest round of updates. The USB does supply power and the microphone works only on Linux systems so far tested with Ubuntu 16.04, Centos. After much fiddling with system settings I was able to configure this microphone to play on win 10 echo has to be constantly adjust and volume and voice capture leaves plenty to be desired. I gave it to my nephew.

terrible audio quality, a complete waste of money
So, first off, the product came a bit damaged. One of the feet on the stand was a bit torn in the rubber area, and the stand did not fit the clip I was sent and could not be put together. Furthermore, the quality of this mic is just atrocious. I get better sound quality with the mic in my headphones, far, far clearer. This is obviously a cheap product masquerading as something a little nicer; I wish I'd not trusted the reviews here. It's fine if you just want to use it for a hobby or personal use; but if you plan to use this for any professional project at all, be it a podcast, voice-over work, or videos, look elsewhere, or you will spend hours re-recording and cleaning up terrible audio. Returned it.

Great quality, great customer service
I use this microphone to make videos, live streams and online gaming. The sound is very clear. I'm very happy with the professional quality. And when the cable stopped working they sent me a whole new product. I have not had any problems since. They have amazing and honest customer service. These are the types of companies that care about their customers and deserve our support.

It's okay to mess around with.
worked fine for a couple of weeks, then an internal piece got loose and started shaking around. The knobs for volume and reverb are backwards. you have to plug in the USB and mic for it to work for some reason. I mean I cant complain for a super cheap mic, but it is what it is. I wouldn't buy it to record a podcast or song, but it will get the job done for small things.

Better results using microphone built in to my computer.
I bought this to record audio for tutorial videos to supplement a course I teach and returned it. Like other reviewers, the stand did not fit the clip. I decided to try using the microphone without the stand, but there seems to be a short in the cable. I had to set the volume to the highest setting and hold the microphone directly in front of me for any audio to be picked up. If the microphone was moved at all during recording, it would cut out, leaving me with recordings that were half static. Where the audio could be heard, the sound quality was off.

Studio quality at a great price
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My husband has a home studio for his music and my son does pod casts and other things. They both use this mic now as they said its the easiest to use and gives the best quality.
