My wife & I cook a lot for fun and fundraisers. Our specialty is chili. We have always purchased a high end brand, hint: A-C, and were mostly satisfied. There were some irritations though. One was that the inside exposed rivets always managed to trap food particles. Over time the cookware became so high priced as to be unaffordable. On a recent project someone walked off with our $400 stock pot. And that was purchased as a factory second! So the search for a replacement began.I researched everything and looked everywhere. Then I came across Nafang Brothers. I passed it by at first for a few dumb reasons. After seeing what's available, I gave it a second look. From the appearance, ratings, materials, price and reviews we bought this one. It was an excellent choice.The finish is extraordinary and does indeed have a heavy bottom which simmers with even heat & no scorching. It's very well made, has no exposed rivets, is beautiful, and It came with black fabric sacks for the pot & lid. I advise keeping them. We use them to take the pot to the venue and we use them for storage. Never seen such a thoughtful detail.All in all, a high quality stainless steel, heavy duty, reasonably priced product. We thank the manufacturer, importer, and vendor.Follow up:I came back and ordered the 6 quart stock pot. It too came with the 2 cloth storage bags, the same heavy construction, no exposed rivets, and a beautiful sheen. The price is a bargain compared to comparable products and this one is superior to them. It's quite unfortunate that there was one 1 star review, but there's always one spoiler with product reviews.

For years and years I have been cooking with single layer pots and pans. They did the job but they were finally wearing and I wanted something better. I went on a search for some new cookware and came across this one. My one stipulation for my new cookware was that they needed to be at least 3 layers so that I could get a more even cook. For my stock pot I finally settled on this one. It is nice and tall and can fit enough soup for a group.After cooking in single layer cookware for so long it is amazing cooking in a 5 layer pot! With my old single layer soup pot things tended to splatter, stick, or over cook if they weren't watched super closely. With this pot I can have a full pot of spaghetti sauce or soup on a heat setting of 6 on my stove and it doesn't burn or splatter. The 5 layered pan helps SO much with cooking things evenly and I absolutely love it!Before we ordered this pot I really wasn't sure on the quality of this brand. I had never heard of Nanfang Brothers before. I also hadn't ever held one of their pots in my hands. It is amazing what you can learn about something just by holding it in your hands. As soon as I was able to get my hands on these I was so impressed with the quality and will definitely be on the lookout for others from this brand in the future! This soup pot is super heavy duty and feels like it should be in a professional kitchen.

As I've gotten more into cooking, I decided to step up my game in terms of utensils, pots and pans. When I ordered the Nafang stainless steel stock pot, I had no idea how much better it would be than every other pot I owned. I already had a 10 qt stock pot, but it was one of the really cheap ones that I picked up in the grocery store. It served the purpose, but I didn't realize what I was missing until I got the Nafang. This thing is heavy, thick and screams "premium" when you take it out of the box. It heats very evently, and because of its thickness, it retains heat for long time. I like the fact that it has a completely flat bottom (my cheap stock pot has a ridge around the bottom edge, so if I started a recipe by sauteing some vegetables, the oil would collect in the ridge, rather than distribute evenly across the bottom of the pot). Overall, it's so nice that it makes cooking even more enjoyable. The price to quality ratio for this pot is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

I received this pot in a relatively small packaging, so I supposed I got the wrong size. But later found that it’s packed in two bags, the lid and the pot. The pot is heavy and seems of high quality. Now, I have been using for months, and it’s just a great and nice pot. It’s safe on my food. I didn’t notice that it has 5 layers, and I could tell the effect of that on the food I am cooking, especially soups. There is nothing I dislike about this pot. Will keep using it, and keep you updated with any issues I find.

This is a really heavy duty stockpot. The bottom is thick so there isn't burning food. Very easy to clean. Love it for soups, stews, candy making etc Highly recommend
