Do your own research
Although I didn't actually need a full 50 seeds I could not rate this seller 5 star; there were only 34 seeds- yes, I counted. Also there were no germination or planting instructions in the pack though there is some general instruction on the listing page. Note to seller: Americans generally feel better about a purchase if the seller took time to include some kind of instruction or item description in their packaging.Goji seeds germinate similarly to Kiwi -1. Find a small shallow pan into which you can put bottom drainage holes and which will fit into a one gallon zipper-seal bag (A frozen microwave entree tray work great-Marie Callender's, Healthy Choice, etc.).2. Spread about one inch of rich soil or compost.3. Drench compost with clear non-chlorinated water and allow to drain (bottled or well water is best).4. Scatter some seeds (No more than about ten per tray for best result).5. "Dust" seeds with a thin layer of growing medium (Jiffy makes a Seed Starter Mix that works great or any similar "light" medium).6. No additional water is needed. Slide tray into a one gallon zipper bag and seal. You will want to blow some air into the bag as you seal it to create a small dome but not like a balloon because the air will expand as it warms.7. Place on a window seal or a well shaded spot outside during warmer weather.Germination will take between 2 and 4 weeks. Yes, it can take as much as one month so don't give up on them. If you followed these instruction you have constructed a self contained germination greenhouse- Do Not Open The Bag. After germination you can transfer to pots or to a more permanent home in your garden. Remember to gradually introduce plants to the more extreme elements (Sun, heat, wind, etc.).That's it. By the middle of the next year you'll be giving Goji berries to friends and neighbors- whatever berries your bush makes the first year you'll want all for yourself. Happy Growing.UPDATE:Aug. 7, 2011It actually took 5 1/2 weeks for germination of the seeds I planted but all of them(18) did sprout. Gogi grow really slowly. After almost 2 months of daily care and weekly organic fertilizer my plants are lush at 4 to 7 inch tall.Since writing the above review I've learned that my initial estimation of time to harvest was very optimistic. It seems that much like Asparagus, Gogi require years to establish; maybe as much as three years. Sorry for the misinformation. Also, these plants, when young, are very sensitive to sudden changes in weather. I have lost 3 of my original 18, but I'm still learning and I still believe that the reward will be worth the effort.UPDATE:April 11, 2012Now in my second year with the above mentioned Goji plants. I still have 12 of eighteen after a very strange Winter, weather wise. I have planted two in the ground - one stronger and one of the weaker. Both are sprouting new growth after about 2 weeks.Check Dave's Garden for a lot of good information on Gojis.

100% Germination
So far they've all sprouted (just used a small starter green house and heat pad) but I can't speak for the plants yet. These came from A&D, LLC.A WORD ABOUT GERMINATION!- After researching a little more about these, I found out why mine sprouted and then didn't grow quickly. These Berries have a long tap root that needs to have enough room to grow deep. I planted them in the little starter trays and they simply aren't deep enough to allow much growth.I've since found that a tall plastic cup seems to allow them enough depth to get the first few sets of leaves. I'll be transferring them to 5 gallon pots (I've read these REQUIRE at least 5-gallon containers to do well) soon so that I can bring them indoors to over winter this first year.Good-luck(will update when fruited)

not happy...
the seeds came in pretty quickly, which i took for a good sign. they arrived in a smaller envelope within a larger envelope. (careful, they're tiny!) i planted them in a pot shortly thereafter. it's been over a week, and they still haven't germinated. i'm not sure what's going on. it doesn't help that they didn't come with any care instructions whatsoever.UPDATEso they finally germinated, so i upped the rating to 3 stars. and i may just have missed them - or maybe they were added after my initial comments - but i finally see planting instructions posted. will let you know how they turn out!UPDATE 7/7/10i dropped the rating to 1 star because even after they all germinated, they died! i have a lovely garden and plants growing all over the house, so i've got a pretty green thumb, but these seedlings refused to grow bigger than 2 inches in height (they were only about1 or 2 mm in diameter, so really thin) even after almost 2 months by the window with plenty of light and a moderately moist soil. they actually got withered and died when i placed them in the sun, again despite a moist soil. either goji berries are harder to grow than these guys let on, or the growing instructions are wrong. overall, i'm pretty disappointed not just by the poor performance of the seeds but also by the lack of feedback from the sellers.

Good stuff
Hope to see them start to sprout soon. The package did not contain 50 or more seeds. That's what it's advertised, and I'm not wanting to grow 50+ plants but as long as what I did get grows. I gave it 3 stars because I believe quality control is a must with me and it did not give what was advertised.

Price reflects product
Great price, but what it actually consists of is just a few dried goji berries. I had to separate out the seeds, finish drying them, then plant. I ended up getting over ten plants to germinate, so it was definitely worth it. It did take a decent amount of time for it to be shipped, but it may have been due to customs since it did come from China.

Bad Batch
Received Goji seeds almost 4 weeks after ordering. Planted some seeds and also tried to germinate others in green house and no luck! Basically I could have went to the health food store and bought them there. I love gardening and I am disapointed they didnt take even after I researched the correct way to plant. Iam pretty sure I got a bad batch.

less seeds and horrible germination
like so many reviews said, not 50 seeds and poor germination. what i actually got was 5 dried berries. separating them out yielded 24 seeds. one germinated, got about 1/8" high, then died. don't believe i'll order from these folks again. true it's not much money, but it's also true that it was wasted money.
