Great For Blocking Light And Very Lightweight
I needed material to be able to control sunlight coming through some photo studio windows but really didn't want to worry about getting bulky and expensive duvatine for the purpose. I found this fabric and has worked amazingly well. As other reviews have mentioned, it feels a lot like a tent fabric would feel but there is no ripstop. It is extremely lightweight, folds up into a very thin package but it completely blocks bright sunlight with zero issues! I only need it for occasional use and installed grommets in it to make it quick and easy to hang. Putting the grommets in caused no damage and the material itself has held up perfectly around the grommets while hanging. If I need to take some of this on location, I can carry it easily in a camera bag with how light and thin it is when folded up. Much easier than hauling around a blanket-like material. It's a bargain for the price.

Pretty decent
It is very good at blacking out light, but the problem is its pretty thin. So even though it black out pretty well, the folds of the fabric have an issue with having holes in them. The holes are super tiny but they are there. I do recommend it still if you want windows covers like for your rv or car, because it's easy to cut to your desired size, and if you use velcro to hold it up, it won't come off because the fabric isn't heavy.

Works perfectly
I bought this to use while on a long vacation with my family. I knew that our rental property would not have good light control in the bedrooms and wow, was I right. My kids need their sleep and I knew that they wouldn't get much of it with bright light streaming into their rooms at 5:30am every morning. SO, I bought this and some velcro to put it up over the windows in the bedrooms. This fabric is pretty amazing. It's super lightweight, very sturdy (didn't tear at all when I was working with it), totally blocks light (crazy well considering how thin and lightweight it is) easy to cut and seems like it would be fairly waterproof. I'll definitely travel with it again for the same purpose, but can think of a ton of other uses for it if I had the time to do more DIY stuff.

Works
We added them to our bedroom curtains and slice side faces the sun. Very light and helps reduce the light.

Not quite blackout
The material is lightweight and easy to cut. Unfortunately, it’s not 100% light blocking. I purchased this to cover my windows but on a sunny day, I can see light peeping through different spots throughout the fabric.

Excellent performance for the value
Great! It's very lightweight and not bulky. You can use it by itself or, because it's so lightweight, attach it to any curtain or drapes that might match your decor preferences.

4.5 stars.
Honestly more like 4.5 stars. Unfortunately that’s not an option so I gave it 4.This material is LOUD it’s best described as a tent; thick, loud, and durable. As other reviews stated there are a few spots in this fabric that are noticeably thinner then the rest, therefore letting light in and not completely blackout as described. However this doesn’t really bother me as it’s very tiny tiny tiny holes and only on one curtain in one spot. I sowed a thin satin onto the front, and can barely notice the holes, honestly if I didn’t point them out, I doubt anyone would really take notice either. This is marked as “frequently returned” I’m not sure why, I don’t think it deserves that at all.I’m relatively happy with this I made 2 sets of curtains using a thin satin sown onto the front for aesthetic purposes, and I love them.I ordered another 5 yards of this to make another set. I would say it was definitely worth the money spent.

Thin, lightweight and very pliable but still 100% dark
If you need something thin and flexible but still blocks all the light -- this is it. Very satisfied.

Lightweight fabric.
Although very light weight, the fabric is strong and provides an excellent hear/cold shield as well as 100% blackout protection. What’s not to like?

Works well for cutting the light and cold drafts
Great for what I wanted it for. I wanted a liner for my regular curtains as I had bought a pair of blackout curtains but didn’t like the look they gave my room. I have two large windows that let in a lot of light even in the winter. My baby sleeps in our room as well so I wanted something to take out the sunlight during nap time and early morning. I got the 4 yards cut it in hald and sewed them into my regular curtains and it works great! No cold draft and cuts the light wonderfully. Since it worked so well I have reordered for the other window as I have 4 panels in total. It doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of my 80in curtain(short just about 6 in) but my window is only 50 in long so it does the job. I’ve included a picture of the curtain with the liner sewed in on the right. The curtain on the left is a blackout curtain for comparison.

In what can only be described as an utter failure in home design, my master bedroom was built with 3 skylights of multiple sizes that light up my bedroom at the crack of dawn. I was unaware of how early the sun rises until I moved into my house last year. On a clear, full moon night, I can literally read a book with the lights off. I needed to find the dark, so I purchased this blackout fabric.Overall it does a great job keeping my room dark (and noticeably cooler) allowing me to sleep in until my 7am alarm clock. One minor item and the reason for the 4 star rating - I'm not sure if it is the quality of the fabric or damage done to it post-production, but there are some spots in the sheet that do let the light through. Not excessively, but when you look up at the fabric you can see some blotchy spots and streaks in different areas. If you've ever spilled bleach on fabric it kind of looks like that. In saying this, the quality of darkness is not affected, just something that you can see and it looks a bit cheap.

I love it .
Fast delivery . This fabric reminds me of what they use for umbrellas ,but thinner . one side is pitch black ,the other side is silver . It would make a great screen for movie projections . Very thin and light ,it doesn't let light go through ,even the sun . I will use it for my windows ,silver facing outside for summer to keep heat out ,and flip it to the other side for winter .

The price is very cheap and is a very thecnologic product, but it only comes the fabric (you have to adapt it to your window) and it seems a little bit fragile (it will probably last for 1 or 2 years with good appearance). It was delivered before the schedule (after 15 days), though they ask for a 1 month to send.
