Decent iron but temp dial is difficult to read - still a keeper.
Iron works well - sometimes it takes quite a while for it to heat up - type on dial (to adjust temp) is very tiny and difficult to read. This is decent to work with as far as overall size and cord length - the included solder is probably not the best - having multiple tip options is also one of the reasons I choose this particular iron. 60W may be too much for smaller components but is adjustable.

Very handy and it melts solder like butter with this 60W soldering Gun
I need a soldering iron to repair a amp on my PC monitor and didn't want to spend too much. This soldering iron Kit had everything I needed at a good price. Love it has adjustable temperature feature which you can adjust the temperature by simply turning the round dial. It's very handy when you need to lower temp when there many iron that close together so you won't melt other iron on the board. Also, it comes with 5pcs soldering iron tips with different when you need to use it. Overall, I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Good for the price but don't expect anything long term. Gets hot after a while.
Works well..handle get hot. Nice add-ons. Spend the money on a name brand one however if you are planning to use it for more than a year.

Great deal but gets hotter than needed for electronic soldering
Great deal but gets hotter than needed for electronic soldering. It will work but make sure you keep it on the lowest setting if you are soldering small electronics.

Light is on, but nobody home...
I was actually pretty surprised when I first started using this. The tips were decent and it heated up quickly. Sadly, that would be the one and only time I was able to use this. The following evening I plugged the iron in and although the light is lit, it fails to heat regardless of which position the dial is in. It was great while it lasted...that one hour.

Good Iron
This thing heats up in a heart beat! This is probably the best quality iron I've ever owned, beats radio shack hands down. The tips are small enough to solder micro parts. and the grip is great.

Exactly as advertised
Works exactly as advertised. It quickly heated and was the right size and temp for the small electronics I was fixing. Arrived on time as promised (shipped Friday, arrived Sunday). I've only used it once, so I can't speak to longevity, but I suspect it will be ready to go next time I need it.
