Works well and is sturdy and good quality. Programming is a little tricky but not too bad. It comes from factory with setting that will allow any fingerprint to operate. You have to clear programming and set it up for you. Works fine. Love that the door is always locked and don't need a key!UPDATE: Had for over two years now and still works great, haven't even had to change batteries!

The media could not be loaded.  Our situation may be a bit unusual - we purchased these fingerprint locks to guard our autistic son, who has a knack for picking standard locks. We were at our wit’s end trying to keep him in the safe areas in our home, and these locks have solved that problem completely. They were easy to install and program and they have worked very well. They lock automatically which has eliminated the problem of forgetting to lock the door, and since they are encoded to our fingerprints, there are no keys to lose. Occasionally they have trouble reading a fingerprint, but so far that has been due to poor positioning. The sensor does require fairly precise placement of the finger to read properly. My only issue with them is that they make a loud beeping sound that cannot be shut off, which can be annoying. That said, they’ve been a godsend otherwise.

Over all not bad for the price. It has a little problem to read the child small fingers, often need to try multiple times.

This review is for Adel DIY 788. The built quality of this lock is poor. Screw and thread are worn easily even you carefully tighten them. To unlock using password is taking a full 5 minutes at least. However, the fingerprint feature works well. I would not recommend this.

We installed this lock to our door by the garage. It is work so far so good. No more worrying about forgetting to lock the door or forgetting to bring key. I have two children this work well on their little fingers as well. I will recommend this product.

very hard to program. tried 4 times still not done correctly any finger print opens it.
