I have had two and both died within 3 months or less :-(
I have actually had THREE of these. The first one had a loose power cable connection, and the seller replaced it immediately. They did not want me to send it back to Amazon, so I tried to work with them. The second one worked well at first, but then started losing time (a lot), and in about two months it quit completely. The seller then replaced that one, but my third one just died after about six weeks. I think they put old batteries in them.Another comment: When I got the second camera, I put a 32GB card in it (I thought), but I couldn't see it in there! I looked all around, and finally decided I must have dropped the card and couldn't find it since it was so tiny. I thought I had lost my mind! After the camera died, we popped it open, and there was my other card, which had gone in right beside the memory card slot. This should NOT be able to happen, but at least I got my card back! I noticed another reviewer who said the camera "ate" his card.I hope others have a better experience, but it looks like I just wasted my money.

OK... at best.
In a nutshell: it is OK at best, I think this is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for".The good:The installation was a breeze. The extra long power cable makes it easy to route the wiring inside moldings, under carpeting, etc. so it remains hidden and does not obstruct view in any way. The unit's size is of such that it does not impede your field of vision while driving. I have mine mounted next to my rear view mirror, off to the passenger side. The video quality is great, especially for such an inexpensive unit. Night video is so-so, but acceptable. It is very easy to mark a file as "locked" so the video looping does not overwrite that file. The bad:The unit feels light, cheap and flimsy. The buttons are noisy and feel loose in the unit. The instructions that come with it, while better than some other units I have seen, are still severely lacking. They will get you up and running and will get you through most of the features, but they don't mention anything about some of the quirks people should be aware of (see "the ugly" below). The ugly:I commute for over an hour each way. In that hour, at least once, sometimes more, the unit will stop recording and display "Write Error". I have found that ejecting and re-seating the card fixes it. This is also how I found out that if your card is full, or if there is no card in the unit, it simply will not turn on. So as soon as you eject the card, the unit shuts off, be forewarned. I was unable to use the unit for two days when it wouldn't turn on, only to find that the card was full with secured files (I had inadvertently locked a bunch of files to prevent them from being overwritten) Once I emptied the card, I was able to use the unit again. I've tried reformatting the card on the unit itself, reformatting the card on my computer, it seems to make no difference with the Card Error message I get. The power input in the unit is too loose, I've had to create a paper shim to slide in alongside the power plug in order for it to make consistent secure contact. I am contemplating returning the unit to see if a different unit would be any better, but reading through reviews on several websites where this unit is sold, these seem to be common issues.

and it's still working fine. I bought a larger-capacity battery to solder in
I've had this nearly 5 months, and it's still working fine. I bought a larger-capacity battery to solder in, anticipating that the installed battery would be sub-par and not last long, but the original battery is still working. I've left the camera attached to the windshield in 95-degree weather, and the battery didn't leak. I usually take the camera out of the car if the temperature is going to be above ninety, though. The image is good in day and night, but if there were a hit-and-run, I don't know if this would be sufficient to read the license plate on a moving car. This is great for the price. I purchased mine through Amazon from Jeemak US.

Great Cam for the Price
While it feels a little cheap and the instructions are poorly translated, it is a decent little dash cam for the price.. A lot of functionality. The Forward Collision and Lane Departure Warning Systems are not exactly usable but something neat to play with. Screen is clear. Have not tried the night vision or low light level imaging yet.

Three Stars
Great camera and great quality. The settings are not very clear and the cable comes off easily!

Would not turn on.
Got the product in today to replace another dash cam that did not work. I was excited to get this one set up in my car based on the great reviews. The product would never turn on. I charged it but it would never turn on, even plugged into the car charger. Sadly, I had to send this one back.
