Nice manual coffee grinder.
I'd like to say upfront, mine didn't come with the bag :( Otherwise, this is a decent manual coffee grinder. This grinder does not take a lot of work or more than a couple minutes to grind a pot's worth, but it does take more time and effort for regular daily use than grinding the whole pound of beans at once, so daily use may not be practical for you. Overall, a simple, easy to use manual coffee grinder. The grinder is nice, it is made of steel and durable. The handle can come off for storage, but you could have trouble with it slipping off, I haven't though. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted. I feel my grind is not as consistently sized (well sorted) as other coffee grinders I've used. This grinder can be mostly disassembled to clean, however I seem to be unable to pull the grinder portion out of the steel casing like I can with the plastic piece in the bottom. I feel like water may get stuck in there when washing. The provided cleaning brush is like a double-sided toothbrush. The opening to the top of the grinder is quite small and it is hard to not spill the beans when pouring them in there. The capacity of the bean portion is enough for a pot's worth of grinds. The actual grinding can be awkward, I find the best way is to hold the steel casing in one hand while using my other hand to turn the handle. Not too bad.I purchased this manual coffee grinder at a discount with the only premise that I leave a detailed and honest review. I think the grinder is ok, would have liked to have gotten that advertised bag... This thing does its job, might not be the best grinder on the market, but I can recommend it.

Portable and simple little grinder
I don't know why people have posted reviews saying it is difficult or takes a long time. That is not my experience, but Im also 27 and a chemex coffee snob, meaning Im fairly fit and am grinding course coffee. While I heat my water to 190 F, I can grind the beans. Im done grinding before the water is done. I do wish it was a little bit larger because I am brewing for two people and we like strong black coffee, so I usually do it two times about 3/4 full (thats 1.5 total, yay math). It took me some experimentation to find the courseness of grind I preferred. Losing one star for lack of directions and the courseness screw not being clearly explained anywhere. Also because the crank/handle is strange, coming off super easily and needed to be removed every time you open the top. The packaging was so plain, I worried I had gotten the wrong thing in the mail. The benefit of the hand crank coming off so easily is that it's very portable, but I think it could have been designed better. I would recommend this product for a camping trip or maybe going to a cheap hotel that has a coffeemaker but horrible coffee, but not for daily use. I was really hoping to clear off some of my counter space by replacing my automatic grinder with this little device, but I just don't think it's very practical for two people who enjoy strong coffee to use every day. I received this product at a discount for an honest review.
