Swear Word Coloring Book: Dark Edition: The Jungle Adult Coloring Book Featured with Sweary Words & Animals

I have seen several swear-word coloring books lately, including a similar one from this publisher on white paper, and they've all been amusing. This one has a nice edginess because of the black pages. In both books from Rainbow coloring, I like these features:* In many of the illustrations, the animal seems to be saying or expressing the swear word (for example, the peacock spelling out a swear word letter by letter on the end of its tail feathers, the lizard who seems to be rolling its eye and saying the word, the aggressive-looking gorilla with the swear word on his chest...there are many more but I won't spoil all the surprises.)* The illustrations are fun and the animals look expressive--that adds even more humor to the words on the pages.* Some of the swear words don't jump right out because they're so cleverly blended into the illustrations.* The difficulty level of the illustrations isn't intimidating--I'm not very skilled or experienced with coloring (my own childhood was many years ago) and some of the designs I've seen in other books are off-putting because they're so intricate.* Some of the pages can be colored relatively quickly while others are more time-intensive.Other features of both coloring books that I like are the one-sided printing, the sturdy paper used for the pages, and the fact that the illustrations don't cover the entire page.This specific book with black pages gives a different feel to the sweariness. It's somehow more grown-up than the white pages book, I guess because kids' coloring books tend to be on white paper. The black pages are a nice touch that bring the book into a more adult world and they really make the designs stand out.I love both books and would recommend them to anyone who loves to color and enjoys a good laugh.

I have been wanting an adult coloring book for quite sometime now and I finally can say I got it! I love the pictures in the book and I am a little ashamed to say that I have the mouth of a sailor. Coloring is a fantastic way to relieve some stress and I will color at least twice a week. The pages in this coloring book are made of great quality. So when I color with my gel pens, the ink does not run, smear, or go through the paper. The pictures inside of the coloring book are of different animal species. Each page contains an "adult" cuss word or phrase. The designs to color are graphic in detail and if you choose your colors wisely can be very beautiful. It isn't a thick coloring book but a thin one. The pages are dark with a black background to them. To me, that just makes your colors pop or burst of the page that much more. The pages do not rip or tear out easily and that is a plus for anyone who just throws their coloring books around.

I love this coloring book! It combines two of my favorite things...coloring and swearing. My mother is a retired English teacher, and literature has always been one of my favorite subjects. Despite my exceptional grasp of the language and huge vocabulary, my favorite words are curse words. With my daughter around, I can't curse as much as I'd like, and have actively been trying to curb the habit.This coloring book is the next best thing. I use coloring as a means to relieve stress, and have lots of books. This one is a standout among those in my collection of dozens. I love the black background, and feel it makes the colors jump out at me.The images in this book, besides being delightfully sweary, are intricate without being tedious. They're also a nice size, and wide enough to fit my pencil tip or pen nib. The one-sided pages are really nice, and they're fairly heavyweight, so that further increases my options, as far as medium. I'm not what anyone could consider an artist, but I've been experimenting and think watercolor pencils might be fun.I received this coloring book free in exchange for my evaluation and unbiased review. This book cracks me up, I'm not sure how they came up with some up the words. I've been known to speak like a sailor and this book taught me a few new ones .Not for anyone who doesn't have a sense of humor. The pictures could be a little bit better quality, but for the price of the book you can't beat it. I enjoy it! I like that the backgrounds are black so when you finish coloring your colors pop a little more against the black background. Plus it doesn't look not finished like some of the pages with the white background, I always felt the white made the picture look plain. I think these would make great prank christmas gifts, I'm thinking about giving one to my Grandma just to see the look on her face when she opens it.

As I am a little swear bug I bought this book solely for my own pleasure. All my kids know this is "strictly" my coloring book and that they are not allowed to touch it. I use coloring in many different forms such as to cure my boredom, as a stress reliever, or just for the S**ts and gins of being able to do so. A book filled with many awesome designs captured but swear word. Fun for mature older adults.I paid full price for this book. This is my fair and unbiased opinion based upon my own standards. This is so neat. Coloring is great for adults but now when your angry you could color for calmness. Are you coloring words that make you feel better. The words are in different animals so you could color and color the animals. I like that it's not just rude words. I also like coloring the different animals around the words. I also like how some words are hidden so you could either make him stand out or keep them hidden by coloring. I think it's a very fun coloring book for adults.

I ordered this as a way to wind down at the end of a long day, and while I do enjoy the book. I wish i had paid more attention to the "Dark edition" detail on the pictured cover. I was hoping to color these and display a few of the not so horrible ones in my office however this was a litttlle on the naughtier side. All in all its a cute book though.

I brought this a present for my boyfriend and he found it just as hilarious as I thought he was. I didn’t know if he would actually use it but to my surprise... he actually does! Great idea!!!!!!!

Bought as a gift for my friend, he loved it... Pages are thin but lots of content and good designs
