Electronic Fuel Injected 2500w Digital Inverter Generator

I really like this generator a lot. It's used at an altitude that carb'd generators will ALWAYS run rich at... even if you install the high altitude kit. Electronic fuel injection is wonderful and that's why I purchased this generator. I've got 22 hours on it and it seems content to hum along without any fuss. The price is great and it's just light enough to carry around without too much fuss. So why the four stars instead of five? This generator has one big flaw and one tiny one. The big one first... it is ridiculously easy to short out the battery. I shorted out the battery that came with it and then a second one to replace the first one. I knew there was a short risk and was being very careful. Let's just say this generator has a very poorly designed battery retention clip. I've just given up on the battery all together and pull start the unit. You will still need some 12 volt power to do that due to the EFI, but I have an external battery that works nicely for that... and now I have one less battery to maintain in my life. The more minor problem concerns the handle and wheels. The handle could just be designed a little better. Nothing major. If this unit died today, I'd almost certainly buy another one tomorrow.
