3.5mm Female to 2 Male Gold Plated Headphone Mic Audio Y Splitter Flat Cable(Red)

i have a 4 ring cable for my headset making it so i cant use my mic and headphones at the same time due to my PC having two separate ports for it, the audio sounded 10x worse through the cable and the worst part is i haven't been able to do any calls or talk at all on PC and so i bought this so my mic would work, turns out they made the hole too big and instead of a 3.5 mm it was more like 3.56 or 3.6 mm making it so my aux end was loose and made my mic still unusable as all it did was make a low hum even after putting sensitivity to maximum and putting it right next to my mouth, and i know its not a problem with my headset since i use it on my phone and people hear me loud and clear, i even tested it on a different device and the same thing happened, 100% would not recommend

Do not waste your money on this. I’ve got two packs of them a few years back, but nothing worked. Sound quality is horrible and microphone will not work at all. Even though selecting from the PC settings to microphone input, no sound is getting in to the computer when recording. I returned them and got my money back. Add some extra dollars and get an adapter that you can plug-in more than three devices and use those to get better sound quality. Computers these days no longer have 2 jacks so I recommend getting a microphone that only use a single USB cord to do the work. These headsets will work better because with only one USB port, you can send and receive sound through a single headset via USB.

I decided to give it a shot, even though other customers posted reviews about the low quality check standards. I received my adapter, it didn't work, and I had to return. Headphones work but the mic is mute; it looks like the internal connectors are slightly out of place, so no contact is made with the third ring. I tested it with 3 different headsets and on 2 PCs, all of which worked with another splitter. I'm giving it 2 stars because returning the product was quick and easy, but I wouldn't buy it again.

My son got this and it couldn't be used for what he thought it could be used for. I'm not sure if it was advertised wrong or if he misunderstood?

Product did not work and hence 1-stars all around. Tested with 3 different headsets including Certified Apple EarPods. The other two headsets originally came with a splitter like this so should have worked. This splitter just produced feedback and static which makes me think it’s not wired internally correctly.

Purchased this after buying a gaming headset with a single connector for my computer. Simply plug the headset in to the adapter, plug the adapter into the computer (make sure you input / output sources are selected) and your emersed in sound.Sbipping was very prompt!

I purchased this to split a headphone/mic wire for my computer, but the microphone makes a horrible electronic feedback.I tried this with 3 sets of headphones on two different computers with the same results. I tried a different splitter, which worked fine.I returned the item and got a new one, it had the same issue.This brand does not have good quality control.

I have 4 computers and three headsets, some are 2 jacks some are 1 jack. I bought it to be able to use single jack headsets on any computer, well it doesn't work I was able to pull the headphones jack out of the port to a spot where it worked but every now and then I'll have to re position it.I had a different set at the office and that one worked like a charm, I tested every combination possible and there is no doubt that this one is the problem.
