K40 Antennas & Accessories K-200 CB Antenna Coil, Black with Red Logo

Have always been a fan of the K40 CB products. My old antenna got hit by a tree limb, so have replaced it with this new one. It works great. Back in business without having to replace the hole set-up. AAA+++.

This is the 3rd K40 trunk mount I have owned in my life. It is the newest (15 years).K40 is a shadow of what it used to be. Mainly my gripes are with quality. The great idea "twist to remove" is significantly weak. The mechanism is clearly using cheaper metals and machining. You can see metal flakes grinding off it from day one - something they will not fix or repair.The hold stud strips with the most minor of pressure, so setting your SWR becomes irrelevant - the antenna rod just sloshes around in what should be the most fine part of an antenna.I'm shopping. I can't tell you what to buy but avoid this. I know there aren't many trunk lip mount options out there but this will disappoint you. Had I known they'd sell out this cheaply I'd have kept my previous two antennas and cherished them a bit more.

works great . had no tuning to do after installing whip. transmit and reception were very, very good.

GREAT COIL!! LOW READINGS ACROSS ALL CHANNELS. DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO ADJUST ANTENNA. THX
