This supplier has many great kits!
This kit was easy to build but the amount of (Tickle or Shock) that it produces is very low and does not frighten anyone. But it does oscillate and work as intended.

They don't build them like they used to.
It's an interesting idea, and I bought one as a demo for one of my classes. I had a similar one whose kit I purchased about two decades ago, and my students loved playing with it until its transformer burnt out. This one looks similar, but is very current-limited. Mine produces the expected 80V at no load, but unlike the last one I cannot feel a shock unless placed across my tongue. (Then it's pretty solid, but not what I want my students to do!) I upped the supply voltage from 3V to 6V, built a charge-transfer pad from two closely-spaced washers on the board...although my scope shows the correct voltage, it is simply too current-limited to be easily felt, which is so different than the last model I owned. If one pre-wets their finger pad, and touches it *just so* it is possible to feel, perhaps, something. Let's let the engineers design it, rather than the lawyers.

THE BEST
This was so much fun. Easy to put together and easy to use. I just made a little wooden box for it with the positive and negative wires coming out.
