I like that they're just short, quick notes to get you thinking.One downside is that they don't identify what version of the bible they use to quote the scriptures by each quote. If you look for it, you can find that they identify on the publishing info page that they use NIV. Is rather have that identified more notably or next to each quote.

a perfect gift for ladies.

This book literally changed my life. I actually saw this book in a bookstore two years ago and immediately opened to a passage that felt like it was written to encourage me for my exact situation at the time. I bought it of course and read it everyday and it helped focus on what is really important: God. The passages are precise and powerful and really help to start your day off right. Last week, I gave that copy to my best friend who needed it just as much I did two years ago an it's helping her through some very tough times and to even reconnect with God. What a blessing!! This is the book that just keeps giving. So of course I whipped around and bought another copy from Amazon. So so so happy to give this book the review it deserves!!! I love it and couldn't recommend it more for anyone struggling with faith, life or anyone just trying to stayed focused on God.

Bought this for a very special woman in my life who needed to have some devotional time each day. We talked about carving out some time each day to spend with God and I mentioned this to her. Anyway, I surprised her with this and boy was she surprised and also very pleased. I bought another for my niece who is an executive and works very hard but needed to spend some time each day with God as well. Both are very thankful and have been dedicating time each morning to do their devotions.

It is definitely a book I think every woman must have. For the busy everyday life, it's great to spend time with God and do a daily devotion. I noticed that it brightened up my mood whenever I use it.

This book is such an encouragement for Christian women. Carolyn Larsen uses a verse from God's Word and then shares some thoughts. She is very perceptive on human nature and knows how to apply God's Word to our everyday situations. I found this book to be very encouraging, short and to the point. I also read my Bible and other devotions but this one gives a jump start to your day. I have given this to other ladies and they also have passed it along. I would say her other books for boys and girls and mothers, etc., would be excellent as well. I prefer KJV or NKJV but if you are familiar with the Bible, you know what the verses are.

This is a nice devotional. I enjoy the quick daily read. I really wanted to buy more for gifts for a few friends but considering there is a whole month of devotionals on raising children etc. I cant because they don't have children. So besides that its a wonderful little devotional

This is good one minute devotions for women. I received as a Christmas gift from my friend and next year I bought one on Christmas as a exchange gifts.
