I got this for my 6yo daughter going into first grade. We got the larger size just because I wanted to make sure it worked for her as she grew. It is a lot better than the previous backpacks I have purchased for my kids. It looks significantly sturdier and much better made than the nicer bags at most stores and it was really cute. The doll is cheap but it can be replaced with whatever cute keychain we want so thats no big deal. The lunchbag is larger compared to anything I would typically find which is nice for packing items, most lunchbags at stores are too small for even a sandwich and a drink and a piece of fruit. Overall this bag is significantly better than you would get from a typical backpack you can buy locally. We have purchased several bags that were licensed with characters from her favorite princess film and a few that weren't licensed but looked sturdier for older kids and none of them were as nice or sturdy. I was shocked because of how inexpensive it was in comparison to what we got. I definitely would buy this again.

I haven’t had this product long so I hope my 5 star review is true. My main reasoning for an early review is to let parents know this product in small DOES fit a standard size folder. If you have a little preschooler, my daughter is 2 soon to be 3 and it is a great fit.

The quality of this backpack is far above what I expected. Many that you buy in stores are thinner and barely survive the school year. This bag is made of a thicker, higher quality material that will last. The stitching alone shows the level of care put into the making of this bag. The hand bag (lunch bag) is insulated to keep food and drinks cold/hot. After reading the reviews before purchasing, I was a little worried about the size. My 3rd grader uses it and it's the perfect size. She has room for a sweater, folder, pencil box, library book, and another pencil bag for markers. Even all this still leaves enough room should she need it, but it's not overwhelmingly large. I particularly like the way the bag zips open in a flap style. You can see everything in the bag without digging around. The lil princess is just a small bonus to add even more character. It is cheaper but it isn't meant to be played with like most dolls. It hangs on the bag as an accessory. All in all my daughter said "this is by far the best backpack I've ever had". She has gotten many compliments from students and parents. Best part is, it's not the exact same as every other student.

This is absolutely adorable in person!!! I was not expecting such great quality either! It's thick and stitches are great, the padding on the straps and back of the back pack are cushioned and very comfortable. The lunch box is better then I expected too! Holds the cold as it should, and stores everything she needs and has room to take goodies for her and her friends. I'm blown away honestly! If your reading this cause your worried it won't hold up or is as it says, then add this bag to your cart right now! Because I'm thinking of getting myself one after watching my 8 yr old using these. They just look so cute on her.

I ordered the large size and it is the size of a normal backpack which I expected. Very pretty color, very nice materials, it's a good quality backpack! Everything is sewn on nice. Very fast shipping. I can see it getting dirty really fast but I should have thought of that before with the light pink.

Very cute, my daughter loves it. It is not a full size backpack, but it will fit a college size notebook or a folder, so it's good enough.

It is very high quality. I bought it because my petite 5 year old kept complaining that her back hurt. I bought this backpack because the straps looked very supportive and it didn't disappoint. Definitely highly recommend.
