These come in capsules similar to fish oil but there is no fishy taste. However, you will need to take 4 of them instead of 2 with fish oil. There are some ingredients I recognize that are also in fish oil. I have chronic dry eye and my doctor recommended taking fish oil regularly to help with that. It's hard to tell if it actually works because I still dry eyes at the end of the day after staring at a monitor for many hours; however, if I stop taking fish oil for a few days, I can really tell that my eyes feel a lot more uncomfortable. I think this supplement works the same way. If I take it regularly, the condition is tolerable, if I don't, it will get worse. I've been taking these for about and my condition has been the same, which is good. I like that these capsules don't have the fishy taste; however, I don't like that I have to take 4 of them instead of 2 like with fish oil. The price is also a lot higher than fish oil, which is why I would go back to taking fish oil instead of this. However, if you absolutely can't tolerate the fishy taste then this is a good option for you.

Started my vitamins today. They are easy to swallow and very friendly on my sensitive stomach!! Love the fact that they contain all natural ingredients. Highly recommend!!!

I'm 75 and I have had problems with dry eyes for a couple of years. The optometrist has prescribed different ointments, but nothing has really helped. All of a sudden, my eyes will start burning like fire and the only way I can relieve the pain is to wash them out with soap and water.I am trying out this dry eye relief 1000 pill. After a week I think that my eyes are better; I haven't had a burning eyes episode this week yet, so I am hoping that the pills are helping! 4 soft gel pills all at once or 2 soft gel pills twice a day with meals. So, in 30 days I should know for sure if these are helping.I am willing to try anything to stop the dry eye burning sensation events. Thanks for making this product available.

I only used one star because I was told by the maker that it woulf take 2 months to feel a difference. I am a long way from 2 months. So really no stars should be shown.

I have extremely dry eyes and thought I would give this a try. The bottle comes with a 30-day supply and I have used it daily for 21 days. So far, NO IMPROVEMENT. The dose is 4 large capsules. I had no problem swallowing them, but if you have trouble swallowing pills, these are not for you. At over $1 a day, I won't continue these once I finish the bottle.

Although I do not have a chronic issue with dry eyes, it can be a problematic at times. In having an opportunity to try the VisiVite Dry Eye Relief gel caps, I thought why not?Initial issues that pop up right away are:Suggested 4 a day. Basically, you are getting a 30 day supply. Now I am a full believe in you get what you pay for when it comes to health supplements, but I am questioning the cost here as I don't see any FDA approval for the product.The gel caps are large, big enough to get caught in my throat at times. That almost make them unusable for me.Two of the good things though is from the ingredients listed on the back, this does appear to consist of natural ingredients. Plus, it's produced right here in the U.S.A. My only question of that is; Where do the ingredients come from. Here in the U.S.A. as well, or imported? That is what I would like to know.I'll update my review if and when I have better information.

These are hard to review because efficacy can be hard to measure. However, I do believe this have helped me. I have dealt with dry eyes most of my life. It definitely gets worse because I work in a room that is kept cold for the large computers. Having tested these out for a few weeks, my eyes do seem to be doing better at the end of the day.They are large pills that are difficult to swallow but that's really unavoidable with fish oil. The taste is also neutral so no problems or benefits there.
