Car Mount, LIANSING Long Arm Universal Car Mount Holder with 360 Degree Rotation Suction Cup for Apple iPhone 6 PLUS/6/5s/5c, Samsung Galaxy S6/S5/S4 and Other Android Phones (Long Cup Black/red)

This is the best car phone mount I have found. The spring loaded clamp has a firm grip, doesn't require adjustment when switching phones, and will hold even a larger-sized model (I have an HTC One Max, with 6" screen, in an Otterbox,. It fits with space to spare). The suction cup is strong and easy to set firmly, with a latch that pushes down to secure it in place, all I had to do was remove the protective plastic, clean the cup with a touch of Windex and it went right up and holds securely. The swivel mount that attaches the clip to the flexible arm makes it much easier than usual to get set exactly where you like it and it stays in place once set. I saw some folks had trouble with it swiveling around, but the base ring is adjustable and can be screwed down to a pretty tight hold on the ball, I wonder if people haven't got it adjusted all the way. There is some motion of the phone when driving, which is unavoidable with a flexible neck, but I found it to be pretty minimal compared to either of the models I've tried before and certainly not enough to cause difficulty reading my screen or GPS.The fact that this cost less than half of what I paid for any of my other mounts and it's a no brainer. I ordered a second one for my other car within a week of receiving the first.

Edit: now several months later and the falling off the window continued to be a problem. It has now broken compleyely and is unusable.At first this kept falling off the window, but now it has hung on for about a month so far. I make sure not to leave anything in it when I am not right there in case it falls. It works good but sometimes it pinches the buttons on the side of my phone and powers it off so you just have to make sure to line it up right.

Like a bunch of other reviewers have said, the joints on this thing fail. Specifically, there are two glued joints, one at the suction base and one at the clamp, and the glue fails when exposed to heat. So a few hot days in your car and this thing starts to wilt. Both of the glue joints will fail within months.I'm giving it three stars because I like it a lot when it works. The length, the strength of the gooseneck, and the adjustability is good. Also, for the price, I'm tolerating some about of crappy quality.Like another reviewer said, buy some Gorilla glue at the same time.Update: The clamp has come apart and forced me to reassemble it. I continue to tolerate this low-quality product because it's way, way safer to have your navigation at eye level than to be looking down into your lap or center console area.

I really want to give this more than two but I realized I have only had it for a few months, got it on Jan 6th, 2016.The suction cup, it's perfect, I have struggled to find one that stays put and this one does the job. From the moment I found a good spot on the windshield it has stayed put.The clip for the phone works great, I have an S6 with a thin case and it works perfect. It seems it would have even worked for my old S4 with an Otter Box case.Like other people have stated it bounces around quite a bit...Not all over the place bouncing but it does move. I was OK with this considering the suction cup worked great and it never fell off the windshield. I do however think the extra bouncing contributed to issue I experienced (see the pics).Last week while making a u-turn the arm swiveled and basically fell out of the suction cup. I don't know if the heat in Florida contributed to the glue on the inside breaking up but it is basically useless now.I am going to try some epoxy to see if I can put it back together. I am struggling with buying another one, it's cheap, but I don't want to keep buying one every 3 months considering Florida hasn't even hit the really hot weather yet.For the price, I would definitely recommend the product to see if it will work for you. I'm struggling with whether or not to order it again.***UPDATE***After I wrote this review I realized that the product was under warranty. After contacting the company they send me a replacement mount at no additional charge (it's coming from China). Unfortunately just like the first one, about 3 months in the exact same issue occurred, the arm just fell right out. I'm am not man handling this thing in anyway, like I said previously the suction cup is great, once I get the position where I want it, it stays there, there is no need for me to adjust it. At this time the only thing I can think of is the heat from being in Florida is breaking down the epoxy/glue that is holding the arm in place. At this time I am not contacting the company, I just bought some JB Weld, through some in the base and we will see what happens.I hate to get rid of it because the grip & the suction cup are awesome, it's just that the arm keeps falling off....too bad.

I have tried a lot of different cell phone mounts out there and this one is definitely the easiest to use one that I've found so far. The suction cup is highly effective and can stick to any surface. Some people have mentioned that they use the mount on other surfaces other then in the car and it can definitely be used almost anywhere, as I've tested. I am just highly impressed at the powers of the suction cup.Once you have the mount placed where you want it, using it with your cell phone is intuitive. Any size phone will easily clamp in. And the clamp rotates so that it can be viewed at any angle. Even more impressive is that the stand is very flexible and be easily maneuvered into any position or angle. This car phone mount can be the perfect fit for any vehicle because it can be positioned just about anywhere.Personally, I believe if you use your cell phone at all for GPS, you need this cell mount. I was once someone who looked into my lap while looking at my cell phone GPS, taking my eyes off the road. Now that I have this device, I have my hands free, my eyes up on the road and not in my lap. I can easily watch the GPS on my phone while it's mounted in this holder and keep my eyes on the road at the same time. I am so much safer!
