This product is ideal for those who require portable clamps for securing relatively thin or moderately sized wooden instruments , especially in conjunction with products such as Gorilla Wood Glue. However , due to the design of these clamps allowing the screw to emerge from the upper steel washer , it does cause indentations in the wood quite easily - this is easily avoided through placing a smaller , thin slab of wood over the desired site , ensuring that no indentations occur in the product being repaired.Positives: Marvelous price , great variety of sizesNegatives: Would benefit from a redesign which ensures that the clamp head is much wider and flat , ensuring indentations don't occur - easily avoided with a thin slab of wood or metal over the screw heads site.

I purchased these based on the name, which in the past I have been pleased with their products. As they were very cheap I did not look closely enough at the picture or read the review thoroughly. These are very poor quality, the thread is very loose, and the smallest one of those I received was bent, which I did not see until I had unpacked them and used one. As another reviewer says, the swivel pad fits poorly and does not protect clamped items from the top of the screw itself. The bar is like a thin nail and bends easily. I saw much better clamps in Wilkinsons at the same price, and wished I had bought those instead.

Very weak clamping force, clamping faces are also not flat giving poor purchase. Might be ok for clamping wood but the screw end will mark your work as the end is hollow and will require a packing piece. However even on wood I suspect you will be able to move your work. Smaller than expected but sizes are given so thats more my mistake. I have the equipment to replace the screw and improve the purchase but the frame appears too flexible to be of any use at clamping metal which is the use I had in mind. I intend to pass them to my dad who is a joiner maybe he can make some use of them. The weakness' in this product makes me question the durability for anything but hobby use.

Bit of a nuisance buy, i was in a rush, read the namr and bought them. They are a mini g-clamp set... i know it is mostly my fault but still even the largest one is tiny. That being said the paint looks damaged on them for some reason. And the head flat part doesnt flex much and finally the pin to twist them are really small and bend under a lot of stress. I've had some good stuff from rolson before but this was shoddy.The only reason i gave it a 2 star was because there were 3 and they got the job done although they are likely to end up in the bin.

Firstly, it is a good idea to read the description and realise that these are 3 small G clamps which is exactly what I wanted.If you are doing small scale joinery jobs or even wood working hobbies then these will be perfect. An example of how they can be used is to make a stronger piece of wood by clamping the two pieces together. I did this for a much larger job where I was carriage bolting into an old wood post a new piece of wood. I would not be without a couple of sets of these as they have helped me out several time already.The G clamps I received were well finished and all moving parts were effective. The black paint finish was fine. I always oil my tools when I first get them and so the paint finish is not that important to me.As these are very reasonably priced I would suggest getting 2 sets to maximise usage. To avoid any misunderstanding please note these are small G clamps so check out the measurements before buying.
