Outstanding quality for minimal price
The ATG (All Terrain Gear) Wrangler line has received high praise for its durability, comfort, and versatility. Customers often highlight its lightweight, breathable fabric and functional design, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and fishing. The pants, in particular, are noted for their stretchability, water resistance, and UPF protection, which adds to their appeal for adventurers.

Perfect pants for athletic build
These are exactly what I wanted. Light weight and breathable, stretchy, very comfortable, and good proportions. I am 6'2" and an athletic 215 lbs. These fit well around my glutes and thighs without being baggy or excessively tight/immodest. The gusseted crotch is a great design feature, both for comfort and mobility. The waistband is close fitting but stretchy enough to easily fit a CCW. The waistband is also lined with a very smooth fabric that prevents chafing from stitches on bare skin. I like that these also have a higher waist, sitting more or less 1" below my navel. Only one minor thing, and that is the pockets sit up closer to the waistband, which also sits higher, thus putting the pockets higher on the torso than usual. They stretch enough that it isn't really a problem.

Looks good, feels good
Love these pants. Fit well, look good. Material is light weight. Works for me in the office or out for a hike.

Go to pants for the outdoors.
These wrangler pants are great all around pant. I use the dark brown ones for hunting. They are semi quiet, have zip pockets, and are very breathable. The black ones I use for work with a button down. You cannot beat the price compared to similar pants of the same material. I like how flexible they are when walking, biking, hunting, or working in them.

Lower rise than I’d like but still comfortable
These pants are a great alternative to denim when working in hot, humid conditions. They’re super light and don’t get weighed down with moisture. The rise is about an inch or two lower than my usual pants, not an issue if you don’t usually wear pants at waist level, but I do and I noticed they ride up a bit when climbing stairs.Follow up after several months: the pants are still in great shape. I have two pair that I wear to work for 2 days at a time. Even repeatedly exposed to quicklime and caustic, they are in excellent condition. Minimal signs of wear and no bleaching or fading.

NOT JUST FOR MEN
Attractive everyday pants are so hard to find, and good women’s pants are at least twice as expensive as men’s pants. (Somebody should file a class-action lawsuit over this.) Anyway, I spent days online after realizing my old Duluth pants needed replacing. Sizing changed at Duluth and their women’s pants are now very hippy and too short in the leg. Cooler weather dropped in briefly, and I pulled out an old pair of Wrangler Cowboy Cut original jeans. Wahoo! Pants that actually fit! I grew up in boys/men’s Wranglers, which come in waist/length measurements for just about every size of human, but the jeans are too heavy for Colorado summers. Then it hit me: See if Wrangler makes a hardy, synthetic, quick dry utility pant that features a phone pocket, is NOT a weird convertible pant with zip-off legs, is NOT bulky, does NOT have pockets sticking out from the sides, does not have some cutesy “women’s” drawstring in a weird place, can go from barn to town with ease, makes you look good. Voila! There was the Wrangler ATG utility pant! I am 5’7”, 140 lbs., with a longish inseam. To be “safe”, I at first ordered a 32 x 34, but they were huge. In a state of about-to-travel emergency, I bought a couple of 30 x 32 at a local ranch store and they were perfect. After a couple times in the washer/dryer, they have not shrunk. I like these so much that I ordered all the other colors currently available in my size from Amazon. The Wrangler ATG utility pants are a little slippery for riding horses bareback, but fine with a saddle. Note: The only thing these pants CANNOT do is buck hay bales. Grass hay sticks to them, so I have to wear haying chaps. Alfalfa hay is fine.

Sizing runs LONG, lightweight construction
I normally wear 34/32 in a COTTON khaki pant, they shrink to the right length. I ordered this in a 34/32 and they were crazy long, as in tripping over the hem. I returned that and got a 34/30, which is acceptable, maybe slightly short. These are comfortable but they don't appear to be very strongly made like my Brunt Costello Tech Pant, which fits very well in a 34/32..... and cost twice as much. Those are tougher, but too noisy to wear inside a lot. Rustle rustle rustle! The Wranglers are not too loud, and they are more affordable, so I bought two more.

Nice adventure pants
I needed a pair of quick-dry pants for wintertime hikes, tidepooling and other outdoor adventures here in California. I bought this pair based on price, positive reviews, and positive past experiences with the brand. These pants fit pretty well and serve their purpose nicely. I have a 33 waist, but these pants only have even-number-waist-size options so I went with the 34. They’re just a tiny bit loose but a belt fixes that issue easily. The material is polyester, stretchy and quick to dry. They keep me warm enough for a hike on a cool day but I can also wear them in warm weather and not overheat. I like that the material is pretty thin. The pockets are practical and the color is nice. Build quality appears adequate.Overall, if you are seeking a pair of pants for outdoor activities, you could do a lot worse than these. They’re an affordable alternative to pricier versions of the same concept that you might find at outdoor-specialty stores.
