Too small..will create noise in your system
These should have the actual size front and center on the Amazon listing. I decided to take a chance based on the great reviews and are way too small for my return vents. I used to have filtrete and those were nice and snug. I've added a photo to show the comparison. You will have a bunch of thudding sounds from filters getting sucked up and dropping back down every time AC turns on and off unless you get creative.

Four Stars
My original review: Thank you. The filters arrived quickly and fit perfectly.Today, after using the filters a while, I'm upgrading my review to five stars. The filters are well made and catch a lot of dust and particles. My residence is on the second floor, with trees near the entrance and the back. The trees shed a lot of leaf dust, pollen and other particles which get inside through open doors and even screened windows, so it adds to the amount of dust inside. Good filters are a must to keep the stuff out of the air conditioner and these seem to do the job without restricting air flow.I'm glad to find a source to order filters from hassle free, as the size I require is not easy to find in stores locally, and getting them delivered right to my door is the best - what could be easier?

Noticeable difference in air quality, but needs better packaging
I ordered the 14x18x1 MERV 13 six-pack of air filters since my lease states I must change it once a month. Instead of going to the store and purchasing single ones at a ridiculous price, I needed something in bulk. Seeing as how Aerostar is cheap and affordable, I decided to test their product.I must say, there is a noticeable quality in the air. Since I suffer from terrible allergies, the 13 rating is very important to me. So far, it has been doing a good job of what it's supposed to do. I wasn't sure if my air handler would accept it but no problems have presented itself. It also fits like a glove. Free shipping is a bonus.Even though this product is superb, the company needs to package their items a bit better. The box was a little dented upon arrival. Not sure if USPS had anything to do with it. Luckily, no damage to the actual filters themselves.Outside of that, I will keep buying them for the foreseeable future.

Saves elctricity and money!!
Received my 8 MRV 8 filters I ordered lightening fast in 2 days. They are actually excellently made and frankly, they are obviously trapping way more dust and particles than I expected as I have a habit of inspecting my filters weekly. It DOES make a difference to change them often, including the less stress on your system's blower motor which doesn't have to work so hard to push air volume through! The great price on these makes that decision much easier, and saves my the electric bill from my motor working harder and longer to get my temp! These are doing a better job it seems than my big brand ones. Highly recommend this product.

Typical Economy/Budget Priced High Performance Filter
For the price alone I would rate 5 stars. However, as with every economy/budget priced, high performance filter I have ever purchased, these are under-sized. I guess the reason these companies can sell their filters so much cheaper than the name brands like 3M is because of the material they save with mass production of smaller/under-sized filters. It's just a shame you have to pay the ridiculous high prices of the name brand manufacturers (again such as 3M) to get a correct, actual full size filter. Quality wise, these look as good as any other off-brand, undersized filters that I've tried, so if you have enough tolerance in you filter frame (+/- 0.5") you can save a bunch of money with these (e.g. $39 for Aerostar's 6-pack verses over $150 for a 3M 6-pack). Maybe one of these days a budget/economy priced filter manufacturer will make filters that are the actual correct full size that will properly fit the frame. We can only hope until then . . .

The Aerostar looks exactly the same as the Honeywell ( actually better, a true 21 1/2 x 23 /12 ( ...
Hard for me to find my size filter: 21 1/2 x 23 1/2x1 with a MERV 13 rating especially at this price ( Box of 6 = $10 ea. and free shipping ). The last one I had was a Honeywell FPR #10 ( equivalent to a MERV 13 ) but costs $27 ea. The Aerostar looks exactly the same as the Honeywell ( actually better, a true 21 1/2 x 23 /12 ( The Honeywell is actually 21.12 x 23.12 ). Additionally, the Honeywell I ordered on line only had the cardboard reinforcement on one side only. The Aerostar has cardboard reinforcement on both sides. The only thing I'm puzzled about is that the Honeywell states factually that it lasts UP TO 3 months. The Aerostar states: " It is recommended that you change the filter every 60 to 90 days during normal times of year but increase frequency to 30 days during peak summer and winter months when your unit is working the hardest ". I had kept my Honeywell installed for 90+ days ( Mid-July to 11/01/17 ) and when I removed it, it was fine ( A little dirty but fine ). I just replaced it with the Aerostar MERV 13 on 11/01/17. I plan on leaving the Aerostar installed for 90+ days ( Feb 2018 ). I believe it will perform every bit as good as the Honeywell for a lot less money. Time will tell.

Measures Correctly, appears to be as stated (Merv 11)
I used these to replace custom ordered filters I'd been buying from a direct to customer subscription service. I'd been using that service as filters that fit my air handler were hard to find: always too long or too wide. These replace a $20 per filter service, and they appear to be exactly the same product, less brand markings. That's a $13 dollar savings, per filter. It adds up to be quite a bit annually. These are as stated in the details, actually 19 7/8 (~3/4)" x 21 1/2" x 3/4". The width varies a smidge, but that oughta not matter. The length is actually 1/4" longer than I need, but being a little squished in the back isn't gonna hurt anything; I can still pop the filter access door back in without issue. At 21 3/4" in length I had to crush the filter quite a bit to get the door on, and even then it was one heck of a struggle. If these hadn't worked, I was just gonna get 22" long ones, trim them, and tape/glue on a new paperboard end. $20 per filter is way way too expensive!FYI, shipping was also super fast--they shipped from a neighboring city.
