Good, but not perfect.
Strong, durable screws, not much to say there. The wide washers do an excellent job of securing equipment, though possibly to a fault. The washers are big enough to flare out OVER the mounting plate of the unit they're fastening which, in a fully-loaded rack, can make it difficult to get one unit out if the ones above and below it were installed with these screws because the washers are pinching it in. Not such a problem for live racks, but if you're reorganizing gear in a studio it can be a little cumbersome. Additionally, I've had a few washers split from over-tightening. That's all a bit nit-picky; I'd still recommend them if you need rack screws, but they're not perfect.

Very well made
I had bought the OnStage RS7030 Rack Stand which came with its own screws. I mounted a few pieces of gear on it, one of them the Avalon 737SP pre-amp strip, which for those that know, it's built like a tank and it weight as much as one. The OEM OnStage screws worked, but left black marks on the plate of the preamp. Should have used washers, or should have waited for another day for these excellent rack screws with washers. Very well made.

Rack 'em up!
I'm a bass player, and have additional rack-mounted audio equipment, so I go through a fair number of these screws. They are well made, and the plastic washers are a plus because they reduce wear and tear on the faceplate of your components. The package is priced fairly, and beats trying to buy a few bolts and washers at the local hardware. One caveat. Like most coated bolts or rack rails, the coating can make installing the bolts either tough or impossible. I had to run the threads through a die to remove the coating before they worked well with my equipment rack rails. Fortunately, this cleanup step can be done while paying attention to something else, as it's a rather mindless activity ("spin on, spin off" with apologies to Mr. Miyagi). I docked one star for the extra cleanup required.

A good screw for the money, but I might have had better...
They are black, rack screws... They hold equipment in place, and screw into the holes, in the rack, on the inside of the road case... Not much else to say..! Yes, they blend in with the amps, drawers, and so on... Yes, you can see them on the chrome plate, on the edge of the mixer.. So don't use them in that location..! It's a no-brainer.! Are they good screws.? Well, I've had better, but they didn't come in a box..! ( and I was younger then..) If you need colored screws to match your equipment, then these are as good as any..

Its a screw, but it works
They are #10 x 32 x 3/4" screws with washers. They were a better price than others out there, and for some reason I could not find anything that had the "right size head" at my local hardware store. I use them in a SKB 8u roto-shockmount box. That PA setup travels around and bounces here and there, so far I have not had to tighten anything up, yet. As a musician they won't make you play or sound better but they will hold your equipment in place, and after all thats all they are supposed to do!

These work well, won't damage your gear, and look nice
These hold your gear securely in place and look nice while doing the job. The washers are nylon so won't damage your gear, and they have recessed holes for the screws to fit snugly in, eliminating the risk of slippage. Your local hardware store or even a large retailer likely won't carry black screws or washers, not to mention washers with recessed holes. These are well worth buying.

Exactly what I needed
These screws fit perfectly in my rack mount. The washers help eliminate any unwanted hum, but I recommend that you also invest in some Humfrees Rack Isolation Tabs for a complete upgrade. I you still have some hum after that then check your electrical grounds. Overall these screws are a good upgrade and the phillips head is very convenient for fast switching of rack mount units. I recommend them.

Just got mine, and used every one of them in equipment rack #1
I will probably be ordering 2 more packs within the next two weeks so all ofmy screws match, I'm a stickler for detail. I have 4 Amplifiers plus all of the signal processinggear loaded into two 12-space cases, my bigger Amps are around 40 Lbs. each, so they aren't light;so far the screws seem to be holding everything into place.
