Great piece of equipment & serious customer service if there is an issue.
This is great piece of equipment for and makes a huge difference in my workouts. I'm pushing 50 (yikes) and my shoulders injur easily from decades of what my orthopedist calls "abuse" (aka body building). With this machine, my shoulders (all sides) and pecs get the IDEAL workout and without the kind of joint stress I'm avoiding.Despite some problems with initial order, the owners at Archon engaged with me and resolved all issues. The owners and staff are serious about their business, and I admire that. The cable machine is great. Its a huge improvement in my workout with the Archon cable machine.I highly recommend Archon to anyone looking to get in their best shape and look their best.

Cable crossover
In the end it was worth the 1 month wait for this piece of equipment and it still arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. One of the boxes was missing a part due to Fedex's mis-handling of the package it took one email to ARCHON and a replacement part was overnighted from Florida to California, arriving the next day, we're talking about a 6’ long solid steel rod!The 2 cable assemblies are just mirrored copies of each other so once you've got one put together the other goes twice as fast. The instructions are straight forward so no problems with putting them together. We found that running the cable through the pulleys prior to bolting them in place was faster though. An average person could probably complete the task in about 2 hours. We ended up using hanger bolts instead of the supplied lag bolts and after locating wall studs mounted the cable "towers" about 10 feet apart. The steel components are heavy gage with the welded connections beautifully done, smooth, consistent with no gaps. Love that the 2" Olympic weight adapters that come with this set are steel and not plastic that you see everywhere else on equipment, it's such a pain in the *** to put weights on and take them off when it's plastic. The guide rods are solid steel and the weighted piece that slides on the rods has a seriously crazy amount of ball bearings inside that make the movement smooth with no difference in resistance along the range of travel. The handles can be locked into numbered positions the full length of the post and swivel a full 180 degrees. Hands down, this exceeds what I’ve come to expect of home gym equipment with a company that through our personal experience stands behind what they sell, we even got an email from the president of ARCHON asking if everything turned out good.

Excellent Product Great Customer Service
Bought this for my home gym. Very solid piece of equipment, easy to assemble for two people. I have stacked 120 on each side and it handles just as well as low weight. No need to balance the weight between back and front rack. I was sent the rack mounts as opposed to the wall mounts, customer service was very responsive and sent the right parts quickly. If they made a lat pull down I would have purchased it. Definitely recommend!

Great Addittion to Home Gym
Transitioned to a home gym two years ago, and was looking to make an addition and settled on the cable crossover from Archon.I wanted as much width as my space could allow, so I actually the cables on opposite walls. My handles then are 11 feet apart, and I definitely could travel a few more feet, but that distance actually feels pretty comfortable when setting up an excercise when you using both cables. The machine is solid and actually very smooth, such that it doesn’t feel like it’s a residential unit.Putting the machine together is pretty straight forward, and they ship more of the nuts, bolts, and washers than you actually need. If you have put together a squat rack, it’s very similar - socket wrench and adjustable wrench are required. I followed their install steps, but if I had to do it again, I would’ve installed the main pieces of the body first and then installed the pulleys and cable (their instructions advise on doing it as you go).Mounting it to the wall took a little bit of thought. I ultimately decided to run a 2 by 6 across three studs. I used a nail gun to hold the boards to the boards in place while I screwed the board in. Then per their instructions used a lag bolt to “mount” the machine.
