Size:Fоur Paсk The Balta Brush Special Needs Therapressure Brush is a sensory brush designed by Patricia Wilbarger, MED, and the famous developer of brushing therapy. This oval shaped brush is easier to use than regular sensory brushes, thanks to its attached handle and ergonomic design that fits comfortably into the hand. According to Patricia Wilbarger, "the high density of the bristles, make it an ideal brush for the body." For specific instructions on brushing therapy, it's best to speak with an occupational therapist or therapist trained in the Wilbarger Protocol.

Good brush
A very good. quality brush, which is important for those serious about brushing as frequently as required by the protocol. As much as I like the brush, I think that it is overpriced for a piece of plastic. 5 stars for the product, 3 stars for the price. 4 star average. In case you are wondering, this brush sure beats the free ones they tend to hand out at OT. My son is also much less resistant to being brushed with this brush vs the all free ones we have been given. I can also feel the difference, more smooth and less scratchy feeling and does not leave marks on the skin (the cheap ones tend to have sharp edges that nick the skin when applying appropriate pressure on a wiggly child.)

Satisfied Customer!
I am very satisfied with my purchase! I use this to calm and distract my daughter during tantrums and such. Works pretty well. Great value, easy to use and durable. Super soft bristles. Feels good on myself as well. Worth all 5 stars!

Recommend. So far so good!
All the good reviews were right so far. I've only used it for a week on my son and he loves the brushing therapy. Don't be afraid of trying it. I like that this brush has a handle and fits nicely in my hand. I keep it in the ziplock bag it came in to keep it clean because I'm sure it would collect dust and hair with the soft, fine teeth. It's just like the surgeon's hand cleaning brush but has the handle to hold nicely. I recommend this one.

Lovely
I noticed that a majority of shoppers here have an autistic individual in thier lives. I myself am typical but work in the human service field where I have encountered this brush. I have found the textures of the brush to be quite relaxing and felt that I needed one. It certainly is pleasant and if you like smooth and rough textures on your skin, you'll like this too.

Highly recommended for children with special needs.
Buy this brush to give sensory therapies to my son. The therapists use it during the sessions of occupational therapy that he receives and I choose to buy one for myself and give him his therapies at home daily. It is easy to grasp and gentle sedras. Highly recommended for children with special needs.
