I like them a bunch, they are comfortable. But, the buckle has really SHARP EDGES & it's tricky. You have to be careful not to slice your finger open. I will be taking them to my cobbler, to have the buckle replaced.They do run rather small, as most these reviews mention. I usually wear a size 7 and occasionally a size 7.5. With these particular Mary-Janes, I ordered a size 8 and they are fit perfectly. Therefore, I recommend you also order a whole size up. You might want to pop in some kind of insole, because there is NO support. They are not your typical, thin-soled Mary-Janes, which I like. They are made with a lovely velvet and they have a thicker shoe-sole. I wore the traditional Mary-Janes all thru the 80s and since I have Multiple Sclerosis, I can no longer wear heals, so it's back to these for me.

Returned for refund. One shoe was missing a buckle. The buckles also have very sharp burrs on them from being stamped out and not finished. I could have cut my way out of a hostage situation with them. The size had NOTHING to do with the size chart. The were about 5/8" to 3/4" too long. I used foot length as a guideline. Not even close. From what others have said, I'd say there is no size standardization. I won't bother re-ordering. One incentive for ordering was the free return. It's a good provision.

They're not the BEST in quality but for thhich e price, nothing a little extra reinforcement doesnt fix. I just applied some Shoe Goo (which is great stuff by the way) along the edge where the sole and fabric meet, around the whole shoe. I put 2 stitches on the buckles. And theyre are doing great. Give the the Goo 72 hours 2 cure and that stuff is TOUGH. If thats too much work for u then i'd recommend a little better quality made shoe. The pictures provided are accurate aa well as the description.

These shoes are very cute. They arrived quickly, they fit perfectly, and are very comfortable. All this is why I am very disappointed by the EXTREMELY strong chemical smell that won’t seem to go away. It made my whole bedroom smell the first night they were out of the package. They aired out for a couple days and now I’ve worn them a couple times and the smell doesn’t seem to be going away. It’s literally so strong I can smell it when I’m walking and it is a very unpleasant chemical smell. I’ll be trying a few things that will hopefully help because I really love the style and fit, but as of right now, the smell is almost enough to convince me to return them.

I usually wear 8 but these guys run a size and a half to small. So second time around I ordered the 9, I think? The metal will have to be replaced with Velcro at some point but it’s holding up just fine now. Worn it 5 times so far and they are comfy to wear long periods of time. They feel all nice and Velvety and smooth inside. I really like them.The shipping was pretty fast. They arrived in a little plastic bag, but secured well. Thanks for your business!

These were very uncomfortable for my daughter. The adjustment clip is made of tin and is sharp. These were worn twice and they started to come apart, now they are in a landfill. I had to order and exchange one pair because they ran a bit small. They both arrived smelling like they had been dipped in gasoline... that can't be good. I probably shouldn't have even let my daughter wear these at all.

I first bought this shoe in 2017 (from a different vendor at a higher price) and wear them frequently. These are the same shoes, except for the label inside. I read the reviews here that said to order a size up, so I shouldn’t have listened as this new pair is just a bit loose. Yes there is a chemical smell, because the non skid rubber soles are made from petroleum products...my new pair is airing out and I’ll wear them in a day or two. The smell dissipates.I love this velvet shoe, it’s comfortable, and is nonslip-which is becoming a priority for me. This style works well with more elegant dresses and gowns in an understated way, particularly when I wear them with dark stockings.
