This is perfect to for a 16 month old, mine anyway. They can open and close them. Teaches colors, shapes, and matching with fine motor skills. Great toy

My little one (2.5 years old) loves her eggs. They are helping her learn/demonstrate knowledge of shapes and colors. As well, she is delayed in some of her motor skills so these help with that and building perseverance when she can’t close them right away. They are sturdy and would make a great gift!

Every time my grandson comes to our house he looks for his eggs. Brings them to me and says open please. We take them apart and he puts them back together pretty fast. Some times we have him look for the shape and other times the color. Most of the time he plays with it himself, he is two and has been playing with these since he was 18 months old. Highly recommend.

Pros- good price, brightly colored eggs, carrying case keeps eggs neatly in 1 place when not in use. Well made and shapes are smooth and safe for toddlers to handle. Too big to fit into mouth as well.Cons- eggs are very smooth and polished- slick-no texture for little fingers to grip with, my 20 mo grandson could not open by himself. I have to open each one for him and then close it slightly. Maybe with time/wear they will open more easily. The case is very hard to open as well. The two clips are very rigid and require adults to pry open catches. Child cannot open by themselves. FYI.

The eggs are the size and shape of real eggs. My grandkids love tapping them on the table to "break" them open like Nana does. The added benefit is matching the shapes and colors! Shapes are easy to put back together, so the children do not become frustrated.Excellent gift! I have purchased three, and plan to buy a few more!

My son loves these eggs! Some of them can be a little hard to open, but I would highly recommend!

Tons of fun for hours and months ! I’ve had these for about 5 months and still loving .. my 20 month old is now working on colors and putting them back together… worth it for any age! They aren’t that hard to open as some reviews said.. the ones that are a bit snug you get to work on the “I need help” skill development :-)

I absolutely love this set! My kid is obsessed with eggs for some reason, so giving him eggs that are an education toy is perfect. They eggs are really easy to take apart and put back together..the case is sturdy and takes a little more effort to close and open, but my 2 year old is able to do it with a little force behind his pull. Definitely a great find. Really happy with this item!
