EXCELLANYARD Women's Cotton Chinese Qipao Cheongsam Dress

Love this dress! I want to wear it everywhere! I’m typically a 4 (5’2” 123 lbs) but I read a review from someone a similar size who said a 6 would be better so I went with that and it was the right choice. It is some what tight around the chest (I’m 34 C/D) but I feel like that’s expected with this style. Fits perfect in the waist. A little looser in the hip area for me, normally I like things a little more form fitting in the back, but I think if I had gotten a 4, I wouldn’t have been able to sit down or move. It is very flattering and very cute. I’m so glad I got it!

It’s interesting some of the other reviews. I purchased 4 Chinese style dresses and this was the only one that fit beautifully and accentuated my curves. I’m a size 2 and I ordered a 2. It was a struggle to get up over the hips and my butt but it looks really nice once on. It does pull a bit because of my curves but I think going a size up would give me a less tailored and fitted aesthetic.

The dress was surprisingly good quality. The details are nice. A few loose threads here and there, but nothing a pair of scissor couldn’t fix. The zipper up the back worked fine. Only issue was the sizing. I usually wear U.S. medium. But with experience, I was aware of Chinese size differences. So I sized up and ordered a “Size 8.” After it arrived, the tag read “XXL.” It tried it on and noticed the waist area was significantly loose for my personal preference. Rather than finding a tailor, I improvised by taking a couple of safety pins and pinched two areas of the fabric from the inside of the dress around the waist area on the back and pinned it. It looked completely normal and gave the dress a more fitted appearance.

This is a beautiful dress and is comfortable compared to others which have zero stretch or feel rough inside. Unfortunately I cant seem to find my correct size. Im 5'3" 32, 34 B and 130lbs. Each company runs a bit different too. I had bought a 4, too tight. This was an 8, too loose...so going for the 6!

Wow...better than i expected! Fits me nicely on size 0. The fabric is decent. Will see how durable this is. Just bought 2 more. Can't wait to try them on once they get here.

Per previous review I ordered size 6-8 but I normally wear size 0-2, it arrived with the tag states as XL. The dress just little only loose and long on me (not as pictured) but I think I can tolerate that in case there will be day I might little pouch in mid section. So, basically it run pretty small, don’t go with size, go with the chart.

The material, embroidery, and style is beautiful, the neckline really brings out the Asian look but the problem is sizing. I ordered size 8 thinking my normal size in the US is either 4 or 6. Thinking this might come in smaller size because it is made in China. They sent me an extra large. I guess size 8 in this company is extra large. It's a bit loose on me but I am good in alterations so that won't be a problem. If they only send me the large size it might be perfect No lining. But over all this dress is splendid to wear in formal to summer garden party.

Amazing quality and pattern but definitely order a size up! I'm a tiny Asian and even the 0 was too small! Still giving it 5 stars because I know I'll love it once I get a size up!Update: Got a size 2, it's a real 0. So definitely order a size up!
