Micro USB Retractable Cable, Amalen 3ft High Speed Retractable Sync & Charge Micro-USB Data Cable (Purple)

I've been cycling through different retractable USB cables over the last few months. I use it daily to charge my phone from my laptop while I am on the train. (This is necessary as I use wireless tethering to connect my laptop to the internet, which drains my phone battery pretty fast.) I like having something compact in my bag that can be extended when I need to use it. Most other brands I have used are not as good as this one. Usually what happens is that the micro-usb connector will losen up over time and not say plugged in any longer unless I hold it in place. I've been using this one daily for two months and it's still going strong. Much happier with this one.

Bought 2 based on reviews. Kept them in my car for occassional use on the road. Within the first 4 months, one broke and wouldn't stay extended. The second one broke the same way after about 7 months. They still charge, but don't stay extended. It's cheap, but don't expect it to operate for longer than a year.

I bought a few of these. The purple one worked well for a month or so but now doesn't stay fully extended. Haven't had this issue with the white or black. Connector works very well with a snug fit for all colors.

Received on time. I've tried other retracable with minimal success. This product is sturdy, works well and fits both my smartphones quite well. I have one in each vehicle. Also like the fact that it comes in various colors. I would recommend this product.

I like this retractable charger, however sometimes the retraction (?) pulls and has to be pulled and retracted a couple of times before working. It is small so it's easy to carry in pocket or purse making it convenient to use..

First of all this order took forever but I was willing to wait because I needed a charger for my iPhone 6. once I got it I tried it on my iPhone and this charger does not fit whatsoever!! I tried it on my iPhone 5 and it sure fit but no charge. I tried charging my MiFi it was a perfect fit, but no charge! This is an incorrect item and a broken one. I am so disappointed.

Ok this is the second one I purchased. The first one is in my car for charging things and this one is on my desk I love the way it keeps the cable all neat and tidy and I don't get everything tangled up in it. It charges fine. No problems and it still retracts great.

I had this less than 1 month and the micro usb portion was frayed. Also, it doesn't retract very well. Don't waste your money.
