I love love LOVE Pereg Quinoa. I've tried other brands and have not cared for them as much. Granted, I do need to add some salt because it is pretty bland without it. But once you add the salt, the flavor is wonderful. It's nice and fluffy too. Super easy to make and decent priced for quinoa (each jar will make 2 generous servings). I highly recommend!

i really wanted to like this quinoa. the flavors are good and i like that all the ingredients are immediately recognizable. i've tried various flavors of the pereg quinoa and they are all decent plus it's nice to have different options for different meals. the biggest drawback were the gritty, sand-like substances that my wife and i kept biting into. not pleasant at all when trying to enjoy dinner. thinking it was a quality-control issue, i contacted the company and they were gracious enough to replace the mixed six-pack i ordered plus they threw in their flavored breadcrumbs and some other whole grain rice mixture. unfortunately, the replacement quinoa had the exact same issue as before. i'm really curious as to what this sand-like crunchy things are and i sincerely hope the company finds out what's going on and is able to fix it. maybe then i'll give them a try again but for now i don't trust any of their products.

This was a good side dish within a Mediterranean meal. Instead of cooking in a saucepan, I placed the ingredients in the rice cooker with the setting of "white rice". It was done in no time and had a nice, light lemon aroma. Added a bit of turmeric to tie into the rest of the meal.
