Really attractive, solidly built mini PC with premium components and good performance.
I really like the look, solid feel, and compact size of this PC. While setting it up, I kept finding nice little surprises in the configuration. I also took a few notes to share:Positives:1. The machine is even quicker than I expected. This is no tossed-together junk-drawer PC. That fact becomes obvious as you use it. I opened it up and it uses very high-quality components throughout the build. For example, this is a real 4 Core CPU with 8 threads of execution. Multi-tasking is very smooth. Apps and documents open instantly. There are no lags or pauses.2. It's sleek and attractive. The pictures don't do this machine justice. The case is precision milled, rugged, and beautiful. There is no fan, but the case never got warm. It's crazy quiet. There is no sound whatsoever.3. The 250GB internal SSD and the RAM were both top-quality, name brand parts. These are the same components you will find in many of the expensive big name brand machines. Again, this was a pleasant surprise.4. The mainboard on this amazing little cigar-box PC even has room for expansion! First, it has a connector to add an extra 2.5" SSD inside the case. They even included the cables required to install the extra drive. You'll also find a second unused slot for RAM. Using these slots, you could add a secondary 4TB SSD and upgrade to a staggering 32GB RAM in a computer smaller than a college textbook.5. While this is not intended to be a gaming PC, I was easily able to run a couple of tower defense type games with very smooth gameplay. The internal Intel graphics chips have certainly come a long way.6. I was also able to run Autodesk Fusion 360 on this machine without any problems. The models I loaded were easily and smoothly manipulated on the screen, but some of the higher level display features were missing. It was no surprise that some of the most advanced display features were absent, since this machine doesn't have a dedicated graphics board.7. The high performance and solid build quality of this machine make it an extremely good value.Negative:1. The biggest omission I noticed on this machine is the lack of Bluetooth support. Bluetooth is mostly used for wireless keyboards and mice, but virtually everything in a smart home these days can communicate through Bluetooth. I even have a battery-powered sander which communicates with its own batteries using Bluetooth. With all the fantastic features this mini PC includes, I was honestly shocked to see Bluetooth was missing. Even stranger is the fact that there seems to be an empty internal connector on the motherboard specifically intended for attaching a tiny Bluetooth module to the machine. The included WiFi module uses an identical connector to attach to the motherboard and the WiFi module is included. Why leave out the Bluetooth board?Thankfully, Bluetooth can be added easily using a USB dongle. I recommend a Bluetooth 4.2 or higher dongle because of the expanded feature set. The drawback of using a dongle is that it consumes one of the USB ports. So, when you order this machine, be sure to order a Bluetooth dongle, too.I can definitely recommend this PC. It looks, feels, and performs way above its price range. In general, I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a machine and I think you will be, too.Let me know if this was helpful by clicking below. Thanks for reading!

Silent and works great - except the hard drive
I was a bit dubious about a Chinese brand I didn't know, but it's mostly turned out to be a great machine. I can't find any bloatware in my install and it runs great. The aluminum case has good finish, is solid and doesn't get very hot.The only bummer is that the unbranded SSD died after a year. I had to buy a new one and reinstall Windows (which was pretty easy because the license was saved digitally to the motherboard). The SSD it came with was some unbranded whatever thing. If I had to do it again, I'd get the smallest SSD possible and immediately replace it with a good one. Luckily, I had an online backup service, so restoring all my data didn't cost anything extra. The computer repair shop could have done it, but it would have cost like $200.For this particular i5 processor running everything as hard as I could, it was only consuming around 20 Watts and I haven't been able to get the processor hotter than 60 or 70 degC (the stated limit is 100 degrees). The case gets hot to the touch, but not dangerous or anything. And I dug through my Windows 10 power settings and turned the Max power down from 100% to 99%. That doesn't sound like a big change, but it seems to disable a somewhat energy-wasteful overclocking feature which means you save a lot of power with a relatively modest hit to speed. For the kinds of things I'm doing (spreadsheets, video transcoding, some games) it's still a quite fast computer even at that 99% setting and only burns around 3 Watts most of the time, 10 W max. The case doesn't even get particularly hot. With my modern 21" LED monitor's brightness turned down a bit, the entire system is normally consuming less than 10 Watts and is still pretty powerful. I save substantially on electricity while it's also not overheating my room! And of course, it's totally silent so the humming I used to have with my old box if I left it on overnight to do some job doesn't bother me when I'm trying to sleep. This is a sweet machine and I'm pleasantly surprised even beyond my relatively high expectations!

Surprisingly good
Two years ago I bought the Kingdel Core-i5, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD version. It has been used every day to run lab process control and data acquisition software. Not having any internal fans makes this a quiet PC and it never runs hot to the touch. The case is made completely of aluminum extrusions and panels. Thick materials and top notch construction IMO. I've purchased several more of these miniPC's and have also been recommending them to friends and family. This Kingdel fanless miniPC uses the Intel UHD 620 graphics chipset which means this is not really a great gaming computer, however it is quite responsive and perfectly serviceable as an HTPC or general use computer. Very recently it refused to boot up, so I popped the cover and was surprised to find OEM quality Intel M.2 SSD, Samsung RAM, and a compact board with room for additional ram and a spare mpcie expansion slot. This is an inexpensive little computer, but not a cheap computer. Regarding the boot up issue, I contacted Kingdel technical support and within a few hours we had resolved the problem as an SSD failure issue, still under warranty. I'm happy with the experience.

HDMI is dead
The specs on this machine are great. However, the HDMI port does not work. After some back and forth had a replacement shipped. Second machine has same issue. I've got 2 other Kingdels and they're great. Quality on this model is questionable.
