This thing is super bright and the safety flasher is a great addition for my search and rescue needs. I wanted a headlamp that runs on AA batteries so I don't have to carry multiple battery types on my pack. Also has an awesome price.

First let me say, I'm a biologist. I do night work where i need my hands free. I have used and use headlamps extensively.There are so many great things about this headlamp! Firstly, excellent packaging and instructions.I like that the band is brightly colored so it shows up if you set it down in the grass. The band takes a little adjusting and moving to get it centered but once it's fitted to your head it's good to go and seems to stay put!The different light brightnesses are great. The bright is bright!! But look at the enclosed chart. If you can get away with using a dimmer setting the batteries will last much longer. Red is handy in certain situation where you need to see but do not want to constrict your pupils once they are adjusted to the dark.It's easy to cycle through and choose the brightness and setting you want. The hands free option seems like it will be very handy! I will update if it doesn't work as it should.The ONLY reason for four stars is the battery pack. It takes three double A batteries (which by the way were included, awesome!!!). This makes for a pretty bulky battery pack. Hence the top band that goes over the top of the head to support it. Smaller ones don't have this. This is absolutely the only downside to this headlamp but I believe the upsides will make it worth it. It's not overly heavy at all, just heavier and a different configuration than I have used before so I thought it was worth mentioning.I received this item at a discount but it in no way reflects my review. I believe his headlamp is worth the price they are asking. The hands free option is different and will be handy while wearing gloves.

I bought the Rayvenge T6A LED Headlamp with Red Light for my husband. He claims it is the best headlamp he has ever had! My husband is an A/C Tech and often he is up in attics and under mobile homes. He needs a headlamp to effectively do his job. He loves this one! He says it is comfortable to wear and he likes the additional strap that goes over his head to help keep the headlamp in place and from sliding down. He says it is the brightest light in a headlamp that he has had. It looks to be very durable and he is not having any problems after daily use of 3 weeks now. Not only does he use it in the attics and under homes but all the time while working on an A/C unit. It brightens up the area he is working and makes his job easier to do. The diffuser is especially handy. It switches the light from floodlight (great in the attics) to spotlight. This Rayvenge LED Headlamp is also waterproof. Since we live in Florida and he is working on A/C units outside often, the sweat is not bothering this headlamp. He has had others that don’t hold up to sweat. It does take AA batteries and after 3 weeks of using it everyday the first batteries we put in it are still working great. So my husband is very pleased with this Rayvenge headlamp! In fact, I know if he forgot to take it one morning, he would be back for it! I was able to purchase this headlamp for a discounted price. However it is still our hard earned money and my valuable time to write this review. You won’t be disappointed with this headlamp.

This headlamp exceeded my expectations! We have purchased several headlamps in the past for the same price as the Rayvenge headlamp and the light quality is NO where in comparison. I could put two of my headlamps on and they still wouldn't be as bright as this one. I was impressed that the headlamp came with brand name Duracell batteries! I don't think I have ever received a product with brand name batteries. At first I was worried about the weight - it seems a little heavy. But, once adjusted on my head, it feels fine. Everyone in my family - boyfriend, teenager and 4 year old - has tried in on and loves it. We have already used this headlamp in the backyard, working on projects in the basement, searching for lost items and camping. This headlamp is going to be our number one accessory for camping. I like how there is a red back light that can stay a solid red or blinking red. This is really helpful when we are walking at night, whether it be around the campsite or on the trails. The fact that it is also waterproof is great. We go on several overnight canoe trips and sometimes we are still on the river at nigh. Now we don't have to worry about losing light if our headlamp gets wet. I love the diffuser option. When using the spotlight, the light is focused straight ahead, not a lot of light at your feet (see pics). And, when sliding the diffuser to the other side, it lights up your surrounding area, including by your feet (see pics). This is a great headlamp at a great price. I highly recommend buying one.I have provided pictures showing my backyard at night then lit up with the Rayvenge headlamp.
