Comfortable and adjustable
My husband had eye surgery for a detached retina. He needs to wear an eyepatch for the next 3 months. We tried eyepatches from drug stores and they just didn't hold up, they would stretch out and become loose. Also there would be spaces where light would come through. This eyepatch is absolutely perfect. It's stays on his head, covers the I completely and is very comfortable. Best purchase

Works well even with glasses
While I don't love wearing an eye patch in general, this eye patch is a great eye patch. I've had amblyopia since childhood. I patched in the past, but when I reached a certain age the doctors basically gave up. I am now told there's hope for correcting it as an adult so my new eye doctor recommended 3 hours of patching a day. This patch is comfortable and completely blocks out the light which is what i needed because I can't stand having one eye shut for 3 hours straight. My eye starts to want to fight me on staying closed. With this, I can keep my eye open, and it's still effective. I also wear my glasses with it. I have thick rim "buddy holly" style glasses, it's not a perfect fit with glasses on, but it's definitely comfortable enough to function.

Helped my husband tremendously when he had Bell's Palsy so his eye wouldn't get dried out at night. He recovered quickly but we still keep it around just in case.

poor design.
I really like the way this looked. In person it looks the same design except the strap literally lays on the other eyebrow very close to the eye. It’s not comfortable where the strap lays at all. I had a very extensive eye surgery that needs to be covered to be protected until I am healed. Poor design. Great price. Great material.

Great patch, but doesn't fit under my glasses
This is a well-made product. I'm very disappointed that I can't use it. I disagree with the answer to the first question on the product page. You can't wear it under your glasses and still use the other lens in your glasses.I ordered this patch because I have a temporary condition called Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD) which results in very large "floaters" -- rings, "cobwebs," and what I refer to as "seaweed" -- that make it difficult to work at a computer or to sit in brightly lit areas. The continuous, disjointed motion of virtual gray or black objects that obscure parts of my field of vision makes it hard to concentrate. An opaque patch allows me to work with one eye, but I have poor vision and normally wear glasses, so I've been looking for a patch that will allow me to see through my good eye without having to be 6 inches from the computer screen. The patch is of very high quality. It's made of a soft opaque black material. The strap is comfortable and completely adjustable. The patch bows out away from my eye, so I could blink easily without my eyelid or eyelashes running into any obstruction. The patch blocks about 95% of incoming light. The only leakage was at the edge next to my nose, and I attribute that to the shape of my nose. Your leakage will vary.Unfortunately, although this patch is very well-made, I'm returning it because I can't wear my glasses over it. To be fair, I haven't found any patches that allow me to wear my glasses, but I continue to look. The part of the patch that bows out away from my eye is the problem. The patch hits the lens of my glasses and prevents me from being able to seat the frames on my nose so I can use the glasses lens for my other eye to read or work.If you don't wear glasses, buy this patch. It's the best I've tried. Very comfortable. If you do wear glasses, there's a high probability that it won't work. If you have an extra pair of glasses and can pop out the lens over the patch, that might work. It didn't for me.

By far best eyepatch on Amazon
I have a lazy eye- just like the rest of me. I purchased several eye patches and there was no comparison. These are really good. While not the most aesthetically pleasing, they were style wise the most comfortable and functional. I have fine hair medium length and the all the string eyepatches got tangled in my hair. This eyepatch has a thick band so didn't grab my hair. Many of the other eyepatches did a terrible job of covering the eye. The roomy area so you can keep your other eye open feels way better. The only issue I had was some of the inside area poked/rubbed the side of my nose became, well, everyone has different sized faces and features. A tiny bit of trimming and perfect fit. Since I am addressing a lazy eye and only wear at home, the comfort and function are the only thing I care about. If you must wear an eyepatch outside the house and the big patch makes you uncomfortable then just buy a nice out and about one. I haven't tried all the eyepatches in the world, but I loved this style compared to any other one. I bought several. Oh, and my dad used after his eye surgeries and he agreed. Something to considers: I have a big head for a female- an Elaine Benice of heads for you Seinfeld fans, so I am not sure how comfortable this patch would be on smaller and/or narrower heads.

Would recommend.
This product has been the most comfortable eye patch to use after an extended trial and error. I was experiencing brutal double vision and had to cover my left eye in order to concentrate, this product helped for the two months I was experiencing these symptoms. One thing is that the product is two tight and had to extend the full length of the adjustment to not give me a headache. But it withheald and was able to use until my first one wore out and had to get a replacement. Would recommend but this product is not for a long period of using before you may need a replacement.
