I was actually impressed in how it wrapped quite nicely around my longboard and it's sharp point. It hasn't moved at all and my board is kinda thin so I was worried it wasn't going to hold but nope no problems. Best protection I've bought for my longboard hands down. I have at least 10 miles with them np

All this needs is some kind of center marker or indicator so it can be applied evenly without needing to adjust multiple times.It goes on quite easily with just grip strength and I don't see it coming off unless you want it to.Will work best if you have griptape on the application area.Doesn't look too bulky, but is definitely thick enough to protect the board from curb damage etc.I can easily recommend this product.

I have a landyachtz dinghy blunt, and the guards often move/slip off. Additionally, after a few times of riding down the same curb, the metal structure pierced through at one of the ends.

These are a must have if you want to keep your nice board dent / chip free.

Look! It turned a Christmas gift to my autistic son who just wanted a skateboard that looked like his dad's more than anything! A 150.00 pristine vintage Dogtown Suicidal Tendencies collectors deck, the last one I found and had to buy from Europe after 3 months of searching! into 10.00 piece of wood! It is no longer worth anything and my son cried for two weeks because it meant a lot to him and, as hard as I tried, he could still tell I was disappointed too! Autistic children notice EVERYTHING and he didn't understand why it was "broken" if nobody used it! This wasn't a little thing, it was a major thing to him. It isn't easy to explain it wasn't "broken" in n the traditional sense. He would have never ridden it, it would have stayed perfect and he would continue to pretend to ride on the carpet, but it fell off. He thought he "broke" it and it caught me off guard so he saw my reaction to what the plastic did, not what he did, and was terribly upset. I have never been this mad and this isn't over, not by a long shot! I put this on to protect it, as advertised! and it ruined it! - it looks like the petroleum in the plastic it seeped into the finish it destroyed the finish! it can't be fixed or replaced! I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for Amazon and no matter what I have to do, no matter how long it takes, I will get the money back for the Christmas gift for my son you ruined! This is what you get now that Amazon is so big, they couldn't care less and there is nothing you can do, they do 't lose anything, so they can continue to sell garbage like this with no consequences. If I can file with small claims I will and at least get local press about big chains and their new business practices. Whatever I can Ido. Feel free to find another or maybe I can bring him by your offices and you can explain while he cries his eyes out apologizing over and over for something he didn't do! See how you feel!

Installing/using this protection will likely do some surface damage to your board. It might stick in place fully, or might take some 'reminding' now and then, depending on amount of curve. Seems to be very effective at its job of protecting the board, at least.

They're super reliable. I've had mine on for months now and they're going strong.When carrying my board by the trucks going into a store or something, these have saved the edge of my deck. I was doing some decent damage before putting them on and am thankful to have them now. The one that ends up rubbing the ground most as I rest it has had the rubber wear down but the metal underneath is fine and hasn't popped out or anyhing like I thought it might of the rubber wore through.

I am introducing skateboarding to 2 children aged 4 and 10. They are a little leery of standing on their smaller boards and spend most of their time sitting on my longboards, often pretending they are in boats on a river adventure. They sometimes collide into the walls surrounding the skating area because they are still learning how to stop.These bumpers are just the ticket-they are simple and straightforward, install in seconds and prevent damage to the leading edges of the boards. I think they make sense for regular riders too since going downhill can sometimes get a bit fast and if the rider bails the cushioning again helps prevent damage if the board should hit a tree, bench large rock or other obstacle.
