Best smelling toilet deodorant on the market. I also let my boating friends try it on their boat Porta-Potties and fixed heads, and after they tried one tablet, they called me to find out exactly what the product name was. I had been using the Thetford Aqua-Kem product for over 20 years and it was an effective product; but it really stinks and smells up the bathroom and lower cabin area with a terrible product odor.When my other friend called me last week and said that his toilet was full and he didn't do a pump out for almost 2 months and it didn't smell at all with this product, I knew that I had latched onto another great product that I will re-order on Amazon. I paid 12.99 for the product in June and the price went down to 6.99 for the same exact product in the month of October. Buy it and store it in a cool dry place for use in the next boating season.Update 6-22-16: This product still works great, after my downstairs cabin was closed up for 6 months with no smell of the previous boating season (I live in the Midwest near Lake Erie). Four more of my boating friends now use this product after using Thetford Aqua-Kem for years, like myself. I handed them a few of my extra packets and I can't say enough good things about this product. If you store the extra unused packets on your boat, double bag it in Hefty plastic freezer bags.To use: I added 2 liters of fresh water along with one packet that dissolved in less than a minute. The water turns blue in your freshwater flush portion of your head, but it DOESN'T smell.

These are great for my portable loo. Mine is a much older version of the Reliance Portable Self-Contained Toilet; essentially it's a bucket in a bucket. I use a standard small trash bag to line the interior bucket and toss a bio blue pack in. I usually add about 1/4 of a 20-oz bottle of water. That one packet is enough to last me through a whole weekend of camping, and I never have any issues with odor. When I'm packing out, I can either dump my interior bucket into the nearest portajohn/flush toilet or tie off the bag and dispose of it when I get home.

I use these in my camper and they are wonderful. Better yet I now use them in my mom's commode. Is wheelchair-bound and must use the commode we keep on the first floor. Honestly it was a horrible mess and the smell was awful. I decided to put one of these in and wow! What a difference.

I find it funny how to try and write this review on toilet chemicals! I'm a BRAND new RV owner and had zero knowledge about the bathroom operations. Quickly found out that the permanent mounted toilet required a "chemical additive". The odours were BEYOND description. So, after talking to a friend she told me to go on Amazon and buy some chemicals. After reading reviews I happily ordered a small set. TOTALLY amazed!! It took about an hour before I noticed a better smell in the RV. A day later it seemed like a miracle happened. I did learn that my 80 gallon holding tank required 2 packets. After talking with a few other people who've used liquids were impressed with the ease of packets. You just drop a thin plastic covered packet into the opening of toilet. Make sure there's some liquid in there first. Really helps take the offensive odours out without the mess of trying to pour blue dye and best part...NOTHING to throw away! The bottles with the liquids have a poison label warning on them.. That frightened me because I have pets and a new granddaughter and didn't want caustic items around and especially putting empty bottles in the trash. With these packets all you throw out is a cardboard box that can be recycled! A total win win. The price was great and I was so happy I went and bought a double sized package.

My daughter uses a camping toilet inside her house as she and her husband are renting a house with only one bathroom and they have 3 small children. Never once have I smelled anything coming from the camping toilet because of this product, works as it should!

This works great, when the husband doesn't tip the dang five gallon of poo over! LOL I found this on amazon much cheaper than the big sports store. Very handy to have and I love that's it biodegradable. Trust it, it works.

We bought it for the 5 gallon portable on our boat. The powdered packets disolved completely and everything washed out as if it were only water. Very clean smell too. I'd by it again.

I bought this product as an additional item for toning down odors of Luggable Loo. When actual toilets are not working, this item is ideal.
