OPALRAY T8/T25 Mini Tube LED Bulb, 4W Dimmable, E12 Small Candelabra Base, 4000K Natural White Daylight, 400Lm 40W Incandescent Equivalent, Clear Glass Tubular Tip, 5 Pack

I did a lot of searching for T-8 replacement bulbs and thought I finally found what I was looking for. Unfortunately, though I was happy with the color of the light emitted, they are an overall poor fit for our chandelier. The very yellow filament (when not lit) is a distraction I would have eventually gotten used to, but the real trouble is that the base is too tall to make this a good replacement for our needs. The threaded portion is longer on this bulb than the bulb I was attempting to replace, and the metal bit that circles the base of the bulb (above the threaded portion) shows when installed in my light fixture.The attached side-by-side photo shows the original bulb (left) vs the OPALRAY T8 mini tube bulb (right). Second photo shows it fully installed in the chandelier. The OPALRAY bulb does emit the whiter light that I was looking for (vs the warm yellow/candle style that was included with the light fixture), but you can clearly see how terrible it looks at the base of the bulb, when installed, in comparison to the originals. So, I will be returning them.For reference, the original bulbs were supplied with our fixture by Hudson Valley Lighting Group, and are BLB-40 (40 watt incandescent chandelier bulbs). When our decorator ordered the fixture, I didn’t realize it came with bulbs, much less tinted ones - though, I believe I’ve figured out possibly why. There doesn’t seem to be a decent looking tube style bulb for this fixture on the market, other than what they’ve supplied. I’m not sure if I’ll find a decent, soft-white replacement for these bulbs, which is super frustrating, but I hope this information helps someone else in our situation.

On my 3rd bulb out of 5. They work initially, but then start flickering after a few days.

Still going strong after 5 months. Replaced traditional bulbs with these. Cooler light and longer lasting for sure

Junk. More than half have burned out in 2 months

All of the bulbs in the box burnt out in less than 30 days. The 25,000 hour life span shown on box is about as far from the truth as you can get. Complete waste of money. I’d suggest to look for an alternative.
