Product worked well for a few runs, after that it started not working properly. Motor would stop accelerating and stutter and drain the battery. Useless piece of junk. Tried to contact the seller, got no reply. Don't waste your money.

Motor worked great but the Esc was bad

Installed in rustler 2wd talking place of the XL-5. The fit was good. Ran good for like two minutes then throttle died. Then it starts "cogging", then nothing. After it clogged for 10-15 seconds, then it took off like a rocket and ran good for 2-3 minutes. Something is wrong. I uninstalled it and checked my work. All was good. Reinstalled and same thing happened all over again. Changed batteries, checked rx/tx , but it is something with either the esc or motor or both.Seller, please contact to make this right.UPDATE: Still no response from seller. I ordered another one just to see if I had a bad one. If it is junk also, I will return both of them.

DONT DO IT. Pleasseee1. Both old stock and bad quality?2. Wires are exposed and could cause a short3. White erosion on deans connector weld and pins aren’t plated properly so erosion there as well.4. Comes from factory with softest settings, why go brushless if you gonna put all the softest settings? Going brushless to go slower?!?!5. Need a specific program card which you have to buy, I have 2 other ones and they won’t work.6. Has a weird 2 button on/off switch, have to hold down any one of them for second and let go to turn on, have to hold down any one of them for 3 seconds and let go to turn off.7. Motor seems good, ESC just pure junk. I previously bought the $59.99 60a ESC/3650 3900kv all black can and black wires coming out of back of motor (not side) w/program card and that one is freaking awesome. Get that instead if 3900kv works for you.

Great motor so far. I I stalled this in a Red at Blackout after frying two stock motors. Truck runs quite a bit faster now. Truck is a little crazy to control now as it will flip easily if taking a turn too quick. Guessing it does around 40 mph.

Purchased this for my son's birthday to upgrade his Redcat RC car after reading reviews of others that had success with this setup on the same model.Well, much to his disappoint, it only works for about 15-20 seconds at a time then cuts power. I have tried many known good batteries, the problem is within the ESC.Will be returning this to buy a castle setup, as I should have in the beginning. Don't waste your money.
