We used this product to kill weeds in my driveway. Within a couple hours they were all wilted and by the next day they were all brown and dead.UPDATE: WEEDS GREW BACK ONE WEEK LATER. LITERALLY MADE NO DIFFERENCE.

I bought this to conduct a test of vinegar for killing weeds. My test was performed on a variety of weeds boarding the lawn of our private dog park on new weeds growing in February.I first tried 5% food grade vinegar applied with a pump sprayer, which only produced mild leaf burn. I used an entire gallon on a 2x100 foot stretch. No weed kill resulted.I used this 40% solution after diluting to 10, 20, and 30% solutions. I applied 10, 20, 30, and 40% solution to the same section of weeds, in 20 foot strips. Again the only result was leaf burn, increasing with the strength of vinegar. However no weed kill resulted and all weeds recovered within one month.My conclusion is that vinegar, in any strength up to 40%, is ineffective as a weed killer. At least in a single application. Multiple applications would not be cost effective.

Amazing. Has lots of uses, floors, garden, AC Drain line, toilets. But please for the love of all things beautiful don't stick your nose near the opening of the bottle. wear a mask if you can. It is EXTREMELY STRONG. I use very small amounts (this will last a long time) and it will get the job done.

It's vinegar. It's very strong. It works great. Added a gallon of water to a gallon of 40% vinegar, then added a couple of cups of table salt into a 2 gallon sprayer. Used it to kill grass / weeds growing in the cracks of my driveway and walkways. Grass was totally dead overnight. Highly recommended for weed killer. Note: it will kill anything it comes into contact with (plant wise) so use carefully.

I used it with Washing Soda I bought on Amazon along with VIREX after leaving my home with Mold in HVAC and floors and washed all my clothes in it and it works. WEAR GLOVES-- I was thinking well it is only Vinegar but make no mistake it is NOT-- it is a combo and I got it on my skin and it did burn a bit but I used it generously and it does work and has many many uses in home and in garden to kill weeds. I Love it

I live in southern Oregon where EVERYTHING grows. I used this 40% solution, slightly diluted with water and added some dish soap. Works amazing! First tried on some dandelion and worked within 1 hour. Also kills young blackberry leaves, however I doubt the root will be effected much.One thing I noticed is that adding dish soap seems to help immensely. I did a little test patch and the area without dish soap was much less effected.Also, it seems to work much better when the weeds are in the sun.Pics are before treatment, 1 hour after, then 24 hours after.So far an effective nontoxic weed killing solution! I just ordered 2 more gallons

I love this product! I came across this vinegar as I was looking for something to clean out some rusty pipes. This stuff sure did the job! Poured it, let it sit overnight and by the next day I didn't have anymore slow water going down the drain. The smell is strong since it's more concentrated but someone who uses vinegar allot to clean my home I guess you can say it wasn't as bad as some in the reviews. Will deff buy again!

Vinegar, in different strengths, has practically been around since the beginning of time. It's sooo versatile. But this 40% solution, is a powerhouse. It beats any over-the-counter cleaner for taking off hard water deposits on glass shower doors and bathroom/kitchen fixtures. Not only is it efficient and fast-acting, but it's all natural. Just be sure to do as the directions indicate: "WEAR A MASK AND RUBBER GLOVES", because it has a powerfully strong vinegar smell, and if you use it with bare hands, you will feel it immediately. Also take note, when using it on your bath/kitchen fixtures, don't leave it on too long, it will eat the finish off!!! I apply mine by saturating a paper towel with 40%, and wrapping the towel just around the part that has the hard water crust. I leave it on for about 2 minutes, and then remove the towel to check if the crust has started to soften (I use a wooden popsicle stick (or something that won't scratch the fixture) to rub off the crust. I keep this up until the crust is dissolved, then I rinse well with water. For tough jobs, this 40% solution is great strait out of the jug, but for simple everyday cleaning you can dilute it to the strength that suits your needs.

I have not used it yet as it is too hot and dry and even the weeds are not growing.

Works great, on a very sunny day, weeds dried up in a little over 1 hour.
