We received our new QuickDry Salad Spinner a few days ago. We are amazed at how handy it is! We have used it to drain water from spaghetti and other pasta. It has been great for rinsing the green beans and other produce from the garden. We are looking forward to a good crop of cool weather veggies and anticipate that it will be useful in cleaning the sand and red dirt from spinach and turnips.We have found that cleanup is easy: Just add a couple of drops of dish soap and a little hot water. Press the spinner mechanism a few times on top. Grit and debris will be sent to the bottom of the bowl for removal. Rinse well and dry.This product can also be used as a colander and serving bowl. The bowl itself is nice clear heavy duty plastic. There is a no skid opaque rubber ring around the base of the bowl to prevent sliding while in use.Because the spinner has such a large capacity, we are thinking of purchasing another to extract water from our suits after our daily swim.

First off, I must say that Briefton makes the very best among the 7 spiralizers I have owned the past few decades. Their new 7 blade unit is the best.A salad spinner is a must have item in every kitchen.This salad spinner has the best features you would want in such a product, a pop up button spinner, a brake button and a lock switch to store the unit by keeping the spinner button in the down position.It definitely works as I put it through its paces, spinning large wet Romaine lettuce leaves and smaller spinach leaves.But it is not perfect. The plastic feels a bit soft. The lid and basket of this Briefton spinner are not as study as I would want.. The lid has lots of give when pressed hard and the basket can be easily squished. Maybe I'm just nit picking as their spiralizers are made from thick strong plastic. The Briefton spins fast enough to remove most water from the wet leaves. Afier emptying the water from the container, I usually spin a second time as I have done with every spinner I have ever used.The Briefton salad spinner is about $10 less expensive than any competitor with similar features.The Briefton does a great job and is a great budget choice.I much prefer this spin button design over the crank handle design of others, find the brake button to stop the spinning very useful and appreciate the compact storage using the button lock in the down position. So it has a lot going for it,But how much better could a salad spinner design really be. Briefton has used the most useful and efficient deign I have yet to find. Recommended.

I received this product and was so excited to replace my old one. After using it once (and after all the positive reviews) I threw away the box because I didn't think I'd need it. After the 2nd use of this spinner, it seemed to be stripped or something and would no longer spin the basket when pressing down on the center of the lid. My last salad spinner lasted me over 3 years (but similarly stripped, as they do over time). This one was defective for me after 2 uses, so I'm sure I just received a defective one. I'm having trouble returning, though, because I already threw out the box. The product seems decent, should I have received an effective one.

I like this salad spinner better than my last one (& I thought I liked my old one!). I'd had my old one for years, but I dropped the outer bowl & it cracked. I purchased this one based on the price & consumer reviews. It is easier to clean than my old one (less nooks & crannies), but it still takes awhile for all the water to drain out of the lid so you can put it away fully dried. The large size is great for washing greens, but make sure you have a place to store it as it will take up a lot of room. I like that you can press the spinner spool down & press a lock button to keep it down which helps reduce its height for easier storage. But, this button can be a little persnickety. Don't plan on putting it in your dishwasher. A feature I like that my old spinner didn't have is a rubber ring on the base that keeps it stable on the countertop. Price was great, Prime shipping & arrived quickly.

...in our salads, on burgers, and more! I was so excited to show my husband our new Briefton's Quick Dry Salad Spinner! He didn't see why I needed another "bowl" in the kitchen so I washed it and had it ready to go when he arrived home. What a difference from cutting off part of a head of lettuce, washing it and shaking off as much water as possible, toweling off more water, then making salad with the still soggy lettuce! He actually agreed that it was pretty cool to use; a great value and a noticeable difference in the crispier lettuce in the salad! This Briefton model fit the whole lettuce head at one time and it's stored away in it! I have my mixing bowl back, and the lettuce will last longer! This was really a great deal for us!

My wife makes taboula from the Italian parsley we grow in our garden and she had quite a job drying the leaves after washing off the soil, etc. She’s tried a spinner in the past but found it awkward to use as it used a pull cord; it was also difficult to clean so, she ended up doing it by hand. This one is different: The push down mechanism is a lot more “user-friendly,” it’s easy to clean and it’s big enough to process enough for a taboula party!

First of all, I have to say that I love Briefton's products. I ordered a spiralizer from them and loved it so much, I ordered a 2nd one to give as a gift. Additionally, I ordered a salad spinner because I've gone WFPB & vegan in my diet. I needed a sturdy and large capacity salad spinner so I could wash all of my salad greens. Even though the greens are sold as pre-washed and ready to eat, I still like to wash them again. After washing, you need to remove the water from the greens and Briefton's salad spinner is the BEST and EASIEST way to effectively remove the extra water. I absolutely love and appreciate the size of this spinner. It's been easy to use and it rinses clean quickly. If a bit of food gets stuck in the openings, I just use a toothbrush to remove it and voila ~ it's done! Quick and easy, and simple to use. Thank you, Briefton!
