Ordered these bags since I wanted corn based compostable dog bags since many of the plastic bags marked as "degradable" actually just degrade into smaller pieces of plastic.Pros: These bags are the same size of usual dog bags. They smell Great and although they feel thinner (I think its because they arent plastic) they are indeed sturdy. We have been using them for about at least a few weeks and have not had any issue with the bags regarding sturdiness.Cons: the only issue is that 2 out of the 4 rolls we have opened have been mostly UNUSABLE. There must be an issue with their production because these bags all have a TEAR DOWN THE MIDDLE of the bags. It is an even and clean cut down the center of the bags throughout these rolls. .. Not sure what to do with that. If it were only a few bags thats OK. So far its been 2 whole rolls and we have only opened 4 rolls total.If the bags had all arrived in tact, I would be extremely happy about this product... so far I am unsure

I'd been using the Earth Rated Lavender scented bags for the longest time, but decided to buy these to try them out. I absolutely love it! Here are some of the reasons I love it:* eco-friendly / biodegradable* awesome yet discrete scent that doesn't overwhelm* bright color that makes it easy to spot it* bag holder is the best I've used, great quality* texture of the bag is rubbery, kind of cool. it seems to make me it easier to pick up the poop* valueI waited a little while to review this product, because some reviewers mentioned that it rips easily. I'm in the 3rd roll right now and I've only damaged one bag when removing the sticker that held the new roll together. I must admit, I was kind of sloppy. I haven't damaged any bags when separating them to use. Perhaps due to the reviews, I make a point of being gentle but ripping hasn't been an issue for me at all.Anyway, I really love these bags and I'm not going back to Earth Rated!

These bags, in my opinion, would be best marketed for cats and not dogs. They are okay for a small dog or a cat but you reallllly have to be careful to use on a large dog's poop and will use 2 bags for each triip, You also have to be extra careful ESPECIALLY if you have any fingernail length at all. Your finger or fingers will go right through it and being a smaller bag it doesn't hold as much. They do have a pleasant scent and would do wonderfully for a small dog or cat. :)

Didn't know that I could get so frustrated with Doggie bags... they are much smaller than any other bags that I have used before. They have a weird texture that leaves a film on your hands after using. Lastly, they do not tear or unroll well. I am disappointment with my purchase and annoyed that I will need to use them for the next 6 months to get rid of them all.UPDATE: After using the bags for the past couple of weeks, they are not as bad as I originally thought. I no longer notice the weird film on my hands after using them but they still do not tear or unroll well. They have worked well and have held all of my dogs business so I also updated from 1 star to 3 stars.

Great value on eco friendly bags! I've done my reasearch: most bags that claim to be eco friendly are actually only beneficially for landfills, since they disintegrate, BUT I discovered they're just regular plastic bags with chemical additives to make them do so. In the end, they're actually not very friendly at all. These are corn starch base. They're a little thinner and flimsier, but definitely serves the purpose, and I'm happy I'm doing my share to reduce my carbon footprint!

LOVE THESE! Best poop bags around. Some claim they break down in 18 months. I buried one and tested it in my backyard. Yea...not so much! These however really do break down in LESS than a week. I was out walking my two black mouth cur dogs in Orlando Florida where it's hot and humid in the summer. Got caught in a rain storm. The bag started to break down while carrying it. Just had to double bag it. Which was not problem. I rather double bag it and know these bags break down and not get into our oceans. Only bags I will buy from now one.

The size, smell and fact they are made of corn starch makes me love them. The fact that about 1/2 of them are unusable makes me hate them. I thought I was just not being careful enough when tearing them from the roll, so I unwound a whole roll. Nope - they were torn vertically throughout the roll. Not every bag, or even every roll, but often enough that my husband wants to throw the rest of the batch out.

These are great, the scent isn't overpowering, but hides those stinky doos just fine. You can't just rip 'em off like the "normal" bags can, but just be a little careful so you don't rip 'em. (I've ripped only 1 so far.) Tying knots is a little different, as the bag kinda grips itself when tightening the knot, but seriously.... not a big deal at all. Great value!

We were lucky if one out of every six or seven didn't break. It's really bad when your hand goes through the other side. We liked the idea of biodegradable, but these were just too flimsy.
