Kingprint TMC2208 V3.0 UART Stepper Damper with Heat Sink Driver, Replacement Damper for A4988 DRV8825 for 3D Printer (Pack of 4 PCS)

The media could not be loaded.  I went from some standard drivers to these drivers and... the difference in both noise and control is astounding!It went from very noisy and "jittery" to being absolutely dead silent and smooth!I set my VRef to 1.4v but am also using very long wires to go from these drivers to the steppers. Seems to be working perfectly and so far, nothing heats up at all. Of course my motors are not under high load or anything so if yours are and they start to heat up, maybe adjust the VRef a little or add some heat sinks + fans to your steppers (which has worked extremely well for me in the past with high-load applications.Anyway check out the video I uploaded to see just how quiet and smooth these things are. I'm absolutely blown away. 5 Stars all the way!

Great stepper drivers, they have a good large exposed heatsink area of the PCB foil. Sound level is night and day compared to classic 4988 steppers. The pin headers for UART access to the TMC2208 is a nice added feature, saves soldering them on yourself. Very pleased with them.

Works as advertised. Had to replace 2 dead drivers in my tevo nereus. These things are so fricken quiet its amazing. I did not know 3d printing could be so silent. Did not expect such a dramatic difference. I had some thermal paste lying around to attach heat sinks.. if you dont, you may want to grab some, although may not be necessary.

These are Bigtreetech tmc2208 drivers. Mine just arrived and came in a Bigtreetech box. Only thing missing was the Bigtreetech rubber ducky!Anyways, great part and happy with purchase.

Buy them, buy them now. Thank me later. My printer used to vibrate the table it was on even through "damper feet" that were printed.Now the dang fan is the loudest part.

Makes my 3D print sooooo quite! These already have a 0 ohm resistor installed to make them ready for UART installation.

These are a nice upgrade from the usual drivers. They are super quiet. I have them in my Ender 3 and I only really hear my fans.

Now my printer has runtime control over current! That's great!
