A rather poor purchase
I bought this so I could conceal a cord and allow my robot vacuum to actually operate on a schedule without fear of it getting hung up forever dragging a wire.First thing, uncoil it and lay it in the sun. Mine was arching like a rainbow but after 20 minutes of intense sunlight it was compliant. I laid it flat and kept it out in the sun for another 10 minutes to ensure the shape stayed. DO NOT try to cut this thing to your specification when it's cool. You'll break your scissors. A razor blade / box cutter knife goes through it easily when warm. So, I cut the length I needed - three feet. Now, with a 3 foot section of compliant material, I did a final pass on my cleaned floors. I used a grease remover specifically meant for cleaning surfaces before applying adhesives - tape, stickers, whatever. This could have damaged my floors, but I winged it and let it evaporate completely which only took a few seconds, but gave it an extra several minutes in 15%RH (high plains, always dry climate). Then I applied the tape, lined it up, and pressed it down continuously, all over, for several minutes. The cord cover was still warm during this entire process, and it laid flat and stuck well - for about 20 minutes. Now I have a partially adhered cord cover arching up that my robot vacuum's bristles are going to get caught under. I'm in no better shape than I was prior to this purchase. I read a lot of poor reviews for items that I end up buying anyway. I'm willing to take the time to do things properly (letting this thing sunbathe outside, degreasing floor in this case) and it usually works out well - and I settle on a lot of negative reviews being user error. I really took my time with this and expected excellent results. None to be had.

Not just ineffective but dangerous. A HUGE trip hazard.
The purpose for a cover like this is to protect wires and pedestrians - and it fails miserably. The cover came tightly rolled up which seriously and permanently deformed it. Despite being left on the floor at room temperature for days, it wouldn't lay flat and had both ends and the edges curled up. This cover didn't reduce the trip hazard of cables laying on the floor, it made it much, much worse. The channel for the cabling was collapsed, resulting in a groove running the length of the top of the cover. The seller said that soaking the cover in hot water would allow it to revert to it's former shape but he was wrong - there isn't enough memory in this material to achieve that and attempts to hand reshape it were difficult - it was either too hot to handle or too cold to shape.

Garbage - Do NOT buy!!!
Three BIG problems:1. It comes rolled, and as a consequence, retains its rolled shape, no matter if you put it on in the sun to warm it up. So basically if you lay it out, it bows up in various places.2. Mine came with adhesive tape - utterly useless in light of Point #1. In fact, the adhesive loved the floor better than this blessed cord cover, that is removed some of the floor finish!3. It is a nightmare to cut! Box cutter, scissors, metal shears....you name it! It steers you to a crooked angle.Had I not attempted to use it already, it would be going straight to returns.AVOID. You have been warned!!Grrrrr!!!

DO NOT BUY
These things need to be made out of softer, more pliable plastic. As is, they WILL NOT LIE FLAT. I spent a long time trying to use all my bodily force to bend these in the opposite direction than they were curled for shipping, with almost no success. Using tons of duct tape I might be able to keep them down on the floor, but that would be ugly as heck. They are extremely thick, heavy plastic, and come pre-rolled up, and this plastic is very hard and not pliable at all, so you cannot get them to straighten out and lie flat. Perhaps if you could put them in a giant pot and boil them for a few minutes to soften the plastic, but you'd need a pot 3 feet wide. I cannot recommend this stuff, until they make them out of softer, more malleable plastic. These are more of a tripping hazard, and bigger, and bulkier than just a cable running across the floor would be. Just throw a rug over your cable and you'll be much happier than if you buy this stuff.

Sturdy, no adhesive included
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. There’s nothing in the box for adhesion...so that’s a 1 star from me on that “feature”. On the other hand, this is definitely durable, I was surprised that there wasn’t off gassing, and I was easily able to conceal an extension cord cable running from my wall to desk. The small size doesn’t leave much room for a lot of cables - I wouldn’t be able to add more than the extension cord cable to the channel, but if you have smaller wires (like speaker wire) or thin cables (like USB or thinner computer cords) you might be able to squeeze more in. I was able to cut this with a pair of scissors, though I don’t think the scissors liked it. I recommend an exacto knife. I also think “flexible” is a bit of a stretch. This thing is able to be rolled up for shipping, but it’s not so flexible that it will drape across a carpet pile, so if you watch my video you’ll see the gap between my floor and carpet.

Good cord management, just needs a little heat from the sun to lay flat
After reading the few reviews that mentioned this item would not lay flat, I still took a chance. I figured laying out on the flat area around our house in 100 degree weather might do the trick. Sure enough, it laid flat in just a few hours. We are using to hide the 2 cords we need to run from the outlet next to our fireplace, down beneath our sofa, and over to the lamps on either side. It blends relatively well with our dark wood floors and keeps people from tripping. We really only needed about 3.5 feet but it was easy to cut. Saving the other small piece in case we need it somewhere else.

Great product to hide cords
Great product to hide cords, I ordered brown and it seamlessly blends into my hardwood floors. I'm using this over a 3-4 wide section hiding a cord between the wall and a console table. The product is pliable. After unboxing and unrolling, I reverse bent it after leaving it outside in indirect sun for about 15-20min. So far so good. Because I was putting this down on expensive wood floors, I did not use the included double sided tape, not wanting to take chances with unknown tape produced overseas. Tape looks super cheap. Instead I used command hook tape about every 24 inches. Worked great.

Sturdy protection, easy to get wires/cables in
Good quality, easy to get the cable in. I used this to run an Ethernet cable across my living room floor. I wanted to both hide the cable a little bit better and protect it as it goes through a heavy traffic area. This cover is pretty sturdy so it should provide good protection. My only issue with it is that it came rolled up so it was kind of a pain to get the double sided tape on and put it down nicely on my own, it also has popped up a few times trying to roll up again; however that should stop over time. Overall happy with my purchase.

Double sided tape not included
Cord cover is substantial looks like a good design and should wear well and protect the cord for a long time but the double sided tape was not included

Great product at a great price!
Perfect for protecting ENET cables or other cables along the floor (ours is laminate in this case). It includes the double-sided tape too.

Does what you would expect. Double sided tape sticks ...
Does what you would expect. Double sided tape sticks well and hold it in place. I did not have any problem getting it to uncurl and straighten out.
