FAIRY COUPLE Women's 50S Vintage Retro Floral Cocktail Swing Party Dress W/ Bow

I am a curvy hour glass shaped size 12-14 top and 14-16 bottom, size 34F bust and around 5ft 10ins tall. I ordered the XL and it is a good fit. The dress length falls just below my knees which is great when you have difficulty finding dresses for tall people.The dress itself is lovely and have received a lot of compliments about it. The dress comes with a belt that you can tie and style any way that you want to or leave it off, it’s your own personal preference.The material is not thick but it’s not wafer thin either so it’s nice enough for comfort and style. The dress needs to be steam ironed to get creases out. I just used a normal iron with it set on low using the steam button which did the job perfectly. I have washed it on a cool 30 degree setting using a gentle wash and it came out fine. I just hung it straight up after washing then ironed it when it was still slightly damp.You can wear this dress with or without a petticoat. I wore a bright pink petticoat under mine for full effect as shown in the pictures I’ve provided.The only reason I gave this dress a 4 star is the zip is very flimsy, otherwise I would have given it 5 star.Overall, the dress is gorgeous!😊👍

I love love love this dress. I kept it in my basket for ages but finally ordered. Use the size guide to order the size, i ordered xxxl and am 18/20 and its great, (perhaps a tiny bit big but the size lower would have been too small)I have had so many compliments on it. If you are unsure, go for it! i am now on the lookout for other patterns in the same style :)

I read many reviews on this dress and was left confused! I'm a 38DD bust (42'' around) and a 37'' waist. The XXL fit beautifully! I'm 5'4'' and the dress was a couple of inches below my knee. The fabric was NOT 'paper thin' as described by another review, it was quite a substantial and robust cotton/spandex? mix which meant it was stretchy and yet held my figure well; no bunching. I ordered the black with red cherry design, a matt black with pinky-red cherries. Zip was good, didn't stick like some narrow hidden zips do. Armholes were big enough, no rubbing. The belt is fairly wide and really finishes it off. The skirt hung well and because of the fabric it stood away from my legs, did not hang close so I did not need a petticoat, however if you like a full, more 50's look then a petticoat would go well. Quality was no different to the £50 Debenhams dress I bought last week! I have already ordered another colour :)

After reading reviews and consulting their size guide, I chose a large. I’m a 12-14, edging more towards the 12, after receiving it, turns out I could have got a medium, too cautious. But I’ve got a wide stretchy belt to cinch the waist in a touch to make it more form fitting. Most the dress is white/pale blue, so it is a little see-through, nothing nude undies or a slip won’t fix, or as the weathers turning to fall I’ll be wearing it with tights now anyway. I love these style dresses. I have this, two cap sleeves, one halter, will e buying more for the prices.

Love this dress but even when I followed the manufacturer's guidance for sizing, it was massive. I'm returning it and ordering another one - possibly 2 sizes smaller but definitely at least one size smaller. I'm a UK size 12-14 (depending on manufacturer) and sometimes even a 16 depending on the shop. I'm a 39" bust, 34" waist and 40" hips - hence why I went with the XL but it's massive in the bust and waist so definitely going to go smaller. It's a lovely dress and sits very nicely. The fabric isn't as nice as I expected but it's still a great little party dress which is why I bought it. With a petticoat underneath it's the business. Love it!

These styles of dresses are hard to find on the high street and specialist online retailers cost twice as much - I was a bit sceptical for the price of an individual dress, I range in sizes for high street shops, 10-12 usually so I ordered an M, it fits perfectly, it has some give and the material is a little stretchy, not stiff, so makes it very comfortable. Quality is actually pretty good - I had a dress from Lindy bop and I would say the quality is very similar except for inside lining. There’s no belt hooks, but I prefer that as some dresses I don’t always want to wear a belt, and you can use the belt that comes with is as a headband. Overall very happy - will definitely be ordering more. Only concern is how it will be after a wash.

I'm so sorry, I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I feel I have to be honest for anyone else purchasing, so you know exactly what you'll be getting.I had high hopes for this dress, but when it arrived I found that the martial was very thin and cheap looking. You may be able to achieve a similar look to the picture with starch and an undershirt....maybe, but if I were you I wouldn't waist my money.The long and short of it is, you get what you pay for.Sorry for the bad review!

I am a size 18 and bought the xxl. It fits perfectly! The fabric is stretchy so it's comfortable to wear. I love it!

Ho preso le misure seguendo le indicazione della tabella messa a disposizione del venditore nelle foto, non ho seguito la guida alle taglie di amazon. Veste perfettamente quindi attenetevi alla tabella del venditore. Munitevi di metro da sarta, misurate girovita e giroseno e acquistate la taglia corrispondente. Io l'ho preso in nero, sono soddisfatta, ne acquisterò altri in diversi colori. Consiglio di indossarlo con una bella e voluminosa sottogonna, anche se devo dire di averlo provato senza e a differenza di altri vestiti con lo stesso taglio, cade giù bene, ha un bell'effetto a ruota naturale dato dalle pens che non obbligano a indossarlo con la petticoat. Très jolie robe même si elle n'est pas spécialement dessinée pour les fortes poitrines comme le montre la vidéo. J'ai 95E et je suis comprimée à ce niveau. Le vendeur annonçait pourtant 98cm en taille L. 🤔Je pense donc que ça vient de la coupe car la taille et les hanches vont bien. Par ailleurs, le tissu gode au niveau des aisselles et du décolleté. C'est d'une élégance très discutable... 🙁La matière est un coton non transpirant non transparent. Il y a 5% de Spandex qui la rende très légèrement extensible.Je mesure 1,65m et elle arrive aux genoux.Le jupon est vendu séparément. Vous en trouverez en Prime dans les 11/12€.Ça reste un bon rapport qualité prix sur la base de 22,90€.Même si je ne la garderai pas pour les raisons annoncées, elle fera peut-être votre bonheur! 😘

Bello realizzato con un buon cotone fresco e leggero appena un pochino elastico ma non troppo le taglie vestono bene.io lo comprato giallo e devo dire che è un colore abbastanza vivace bello e brillante. ho sostituito la cintura gialla con una nera per creare un po di contrasto. il vestito é un po lungo ma non è un problema io lo accorciato un po aggiungendo un sottogonna nero e ho lasciato il bordo in tulle sporgere un pochino da sotto l'abito e devo dire che con una scarpetta col tacco nera ha fatto la sua splendida figura .assolutamente consigliato.

Mi è piaciuto molto.Il tessuto non è morbidino da sembrare scadente.È un bel cotone elasticizzato leggermente e ben costruito.. dà una forma al capo.Lunghezza giusta, sotto il ginocchio.Da solo dà una bella ventata anni 50, con un sottogonna in organza acquista molto più valore.. ma più per occasioni particolari.Da solo basta e avanza.Porto solitamente una M, mi sta bene.. ma una S mi avrebbe fasciata di più.Lo adoro!

Arrivato in tempi veloci. Soddisfatta nonostante il prezzo basso sia della qualità del tessuto, della stampa che della misura che corrisponde alla tabella dell’inserzione. Sono super felice e non vedo l’ora di sfoggiare questi fenicotteri alla prossima occasione.

Es más grande de lo que esperaba. Compre una talla m y tuve que llevarlo a la modista para arreglar la parte de arriba. Cintura bien porque no me gusta ir muy ajustada y de largo, para mí genial. Pero por lo demás me encanta el vestido!! Yo me lo puse con un can can para dar volumen pq era para una boda.

Ho acquistato questo abito in taglia XXXL (porto una 46/48 italiana) confrontando le mie misure con la tabella.Il vestito mi calza a pennello a differenza di un altro modello della stessa marca e della stessa misura: "FAIRY COUPLE vestito da sera donna" per il quale la tabella con le taglie era identica e che invece mi sta largo.Considerato il prezzo sono abbastanza soddisfatta in questo caso.

Calza abbastanza bene ma il materiale è molto scadente sembra Tela..! dovrebbe costare Max 10/13€..Ed invece l'ho pagato 23€. Anche se carino per il prezzo si può trovare di meglio .

Ho il girovita e la circonferenza del seno entrambi a 120, quindi questo vestito è perfetto per chi vuole valorizzare il seno (perché "stringe" nella parte superiore) e nascondere la pancia.Non è esattamente della mia taglia perché a me fa un po' difetto: - sopra il seno, quindi di lato si potrebbero vedere le bretelle del reggiseno;- dietro dove sta la zip. Nasconderò queste imperfezioni con un coprispalle corto.Non ho trovato la necessità di comprare un sottogonna, ma potrebbe essere utile per accentuare quell'effetto vintage anni '50.Il materiale è di un cotone rigido: non è leggerissimo ma non è neanche troppo pesante.Il colore non è così acceso da come si vede in foto.

Leider ist das Kleid völlig anders geschnitten als auf dem Bild. Der Ausschnitt ist tiefer (eher rund, kein U-Boot Ausschnitt) und der Rock ist nicht in Falten gelegt. Dadurch hat der Rock auch nicht die Weite am Saum, einen Petticoat könnte man nicht darunter anziehen. Das Streifenmuster am Oberteil ist nicht passend vernäht, es gibt unschöne Anschlussstellen. Dem Material sieht man leider an, dass es nicht hochwertig ist. Die zwei Punkte gibt es für die schönen Farben und die pünktliche Lieferung.

Das Kleid ist in einem angenehmen leichten Baumwollstoff.ich habe nach der Größentabelle bestellt und eigentlich hat es soweit auch fast gepasst.Leider war der Schnitt oben herum für mich nicht passend und der Sitz vom Kleid war bei mir im Bereich Brust Schulter schlecht.Ich habe das Kleid schweren Herzens zurückgeschickt.

Mi sono attenuta alle misure del produttore e vanno bene. Il vestito cade correttamente. Il materiale è buono, non è tela sottilissima scadente. Pensavo fosse un po più corto, quindi io dovro accorciarlo. L'ho abbinato ad un sottogonna per un effetto più voluminoso. Assolutamente consigliato.

Der Stoff fällt sehr schön geschmeidig. Ist keine Baumwolle. Das Kleid reicht bis ein müh über die Knie. Der Gürtel ist nicht zu gebrauchen. Die Naht zwischen Ober- und Unterteil ist etwas höher und Laschen für den Gürtel sind nicht an Kleid. Dieses Kleid benötige meines Erachtens aber auch keinen Gürtel. Sehr sehr schönes Kleid.Das Kleid mit dem Flamingo in gleicher Größe ist zu groß ausgefallen und ist leider auch aus sehr hartem Baumwollstoff. Vielleicht hätte waschen geholfen, aber wie bereits erwähnt war es zu groß und habe es zurück gesandt.Sehr schnelle Lieferung!

Stupendo era quello che cercavo per un matrimonio. Perfetto per coprire anche un po di forme in piú. Sono alta 1.65 e ho preso una L. Da proprio quel look anni 50 . Certo per il materiale che è il prezzo è ottimo

Ich hatta bereits ein Kleid der Firma in Schwarz und wusste somit, dass es mir passen wird.Das Kleid ist sehr schön und war für den Anlass genau passend.Leider konnte ich den Gürtel nicht verwenden! Dieser ist nicht blau weiß gestreifts sondern hat die abgedruckten Flamingos und Blumen mit drauf. Da an der Tailie aber noch kein Muster beginnt würde der Gürtel hier einen totalen Umbruch darstellen. Sieht einfach nicht mehr schick aus! Finde ich sehr schade.Da die Veranstaltung, auf der ich eingeladen war, bereits am nächsten Tag stattfand, habe ich das Kleid trotzdem ohne Gürtel getragen.Anderenfalls hätte ich es vielleicht zurück gehen lassen.
