Product is nice to work on, but arrived damaged
I am excited to finally get to try this pastelmat board as I have heard so many wonderful things about it. Unfortunately mine came badly damaged, so I can only use part of the sheets and have to cut the damaged areas off. Seems such a waste.

Damaged product
I have used pastelmat before and i liked it a lot, but this product came to me in damaged state, makes me wonder if it was worth it, not gonna order again in the foreseeable future

Worth the money
The pastelmat board works just line the pad but is much sturdier and a little smoother. I like it a lot for colored pencil pieces or pastels!

Best for pastel and charcoal
This is my go to paper for pastel and more recently charcoal. Allows layering as well as fine detail.

Prodotto in sè perfetto tutto il resto no
I 5 pezzi di Pastelcard sono rrivati in un involucro di plastica aperto (ragione per la quale ho sottratto una stella a Clairefontaine perchè non ha senso rivestire 5 pezzi di pastelcard così spessi e pesanti con un involucro di plastica così fino), con gli angoli tutti rovinati (altra stella sottratta perchè un prodotto così lo si protegge mettendo sugli angoli dei rinforzi, con quel che costa direi che è il minimo) e con impronta sul retro di una scarpa, il che significa che il corriere lo ha calpestato (stella tolta ad amazon perchè UPS evidentemente non è in grado di gestire alcuni tipi di consegne). Questo schifo in un prodotto che doveva arrivare nuovo non è accettabile.Fortunatamente avevo intenzione in ogni caso di tagliare il tutto in almeno 4 pezzi 30x40 o giù di lì e quindi terrò tutto senza fare reclami anche visto il prezzo ridicolo al quale li ho comprati (36 euro per avere un prodotto finale di 20 pastelcards 30x40 pulite alla fine per che ne so è comunque un ottimo prezzo).Delusissima dal servizio. Due stelle le metto comunque perchè alla fine pastelmat è sempre pastelmat, ma quel che ho ricevuto ne meriterebbe zero.

Pastelmat still the best, but poor packing
Highly recommend the product, but buy it from an art supply store. It’s a professional artist product and damage is unacceptable.

Not the surface I am used to
I have been using Pastelmat Card for several years and I love it. I have tried many other pastel surfaces but this is the only one I get on with. I like that is has a smooth surface yet takes a lot of pastel layers. This is the first time I have purchased the Pastelmat Board and the surface is entirely different. It is textured yet doesn't have the depth to the same number of layers as the card. I am deeply disappointed as I do not get along with textured surfaces. UPDATE: So I have learnt from Clairefontaine, that there was an manufacturing issue and the surface should be the smooth surface I am used to. The problem is that it should never have been sold. I had to send back two packs and there is no other stock at present.
