Mariani Mariani Sliced Almonds, Family Size 4 Pack XqW( 32 Oz Each )

Yum! I'm so glad I found this product on Amazon! We usually buy this exact same product regularly at Costco, but for some reason, during our last visit to Costco, it was not available. Costco does this sometimes where they just randomly stop carrying an item. Anyways, this totally bummed me out because we were out of almond slivers and needed more ASAP. This particular brand was yummy and always tasted fresh! I use it in my oatmeal every morning and we like to add it to our salads too. So, I went onto to Amazon to see if I could find it there and I was! So, I'm really happy about that and plan on buying more from Amazon when our current bag runs out.

This were just fine, however I found them at Costco for almost half the price at $9.50!

When I opened the bag, I knew they didn’t smell right. I got closer to get a better smell and they smelled like chemicals. The smell was so strong. I wasn’t able to return these or get a refund. I was very disappointed in this. I don’t know how these can be edible with how bad of a smell they had. Definitely don’t recommend to anyone. I would give these no stars if possible.

These slivered/sliced almonds were almost inedible because of the amount of thick husks/outer skins that were loose in the bag. It was impossible to sift out these almond skins and it made anything the almonds were included into be full of unchewable husks. The almonds themselves tasted very good and fresh, but the added husks that should have been sifted out were the most I've ever found in a bag of sliced almonds and made them impossible to use.

I am on my second or third order of these sliced almonds. They are good quality and very fresh. I keep them in my freezer to extend the freshness. They are delicious as is or toasted. I use them for a number of different recipes but most recently for my Italian wedding cookies. I am a caterer and make large batches of most orders. I have had great success with both flavor and texture with these almonds.

These are great, I use them in salads, I make up snack bags with raisins these walnuts and sometimes dried cranberries. I have made some wonderful cookies with these. I keep it in the freezer and only keep a small container of them in the fridge to keep them fresh and then just refillthe container when I need more. Originally purchased at Costco but my local Costco doesn't have them, was happy to find them on Amazon

Ordered on Monday, delivered as promised on Wednesday.These almonds have been great!I use them as almond flour to make yummy tasty almond bread and coffee cakes. (I grind them in my coffee/spice grinder.) These almonds leave no bitter or wierd aftertaste; my 99 second almond bread tastes like the gourmet 9 grain wheat type breads I had been eating and help keepmy blood sugar low.Of course I also add them to salads and will be using them to top off cream cheese or frosting on cakes.

It is difficult to find a large bag of slice almonds that aren't over priced. You get a large quantity at a reasonable price that lasts. I make a cereal/snack mix with it of sliced almonds, walnuts, pecans and raisins every week so I go through a bag fairly often so I like it i the larger size. Thanks for making it. Plus they are delicious
