This is the perfect blow poke (both a blower and a poker). I first discovered one of these (although not this exact model) at my boyfriend's house. He has one that is a single tube (without the forked prongs at the end), and it is *amazing* for getting a fire going. MUCH better than a bellows that you have to pump by hand, and not just because it's less work, but because it's more *effective*.I wanted to get one for my wood stove, and so this one was perfect - especially as the holes are at the ends of the prongs (be careful of that!..other brands with the two prongs at the end actually have the hole up at the end of the handle, where the fork starts, *not* at the ends of the two prongs!)All in all a great addition to my wood stove tool set!

This works really well in our firepit and would work well for a car camping trip. The airflow coming out is every bit as good as our old bellows. The long handle is key to keeping oneself safe. The hooks on the end work well as a poker and make it easy to get deep into the coals to keep the fire going. I even pushed it by trying to burn some damp leaves in the firepit. They smothered the fire, but the blow pipe brought the coals back to life within a few puffs. Great tool and well-made.

Love it, the top screws on, which the other did not that I purchased. The only reason for one star off is the screw isn't tight--you need electrical tape or to glue it on because it isn't tightly connected and works like the screw "stripped."

Works very well. The blow tube goes to the top of the fork, not the tips as I thought other reviewers had said. The hole for the air to come out could be a little larger, thus only four stars. But I really love how long it is so I can stay away from the heat. Very nice product, have used it several times now.

Good heavy duty poker, long so you don't have to bend over too far. Could use a wall mount but I got what I ordered.

I have recently purchased both the A 29 blow poke and the Firedragon blow poke. The A29 is vastly superior. It is longer, and the blown air exits through 2 holes in the poker. The Firedragon is significantly shorter, making it less convenient, and does not produce as much air into the coals, etc. as the air is forced through only one small hole. A 29 is a much superior design. I only purchased the Firedragon b/c the A29 was not available. I am considering sending it back.
