Completely Satisfied!
As a musician who understands the importance of preserving his hearing, I try to always keep a pair of earplugs with me for movie theaters, concerts, or in case of emergencies. I’ve used Hearos (which are great) and Mack’s (which I don’t like as much because they seem a little harder), but I came across this brand and thought I’d try it since their earplugs come in purple and include a metal case that could be used as a keychain. After having tried these earplugs out for a few days (including having slept with them), I must say that I really like them! They’re very soft, comfortable, and easy to install. Most importantly, they seem very effective at blocking noise. The metal case seems well made, too. So far, I haven't encountered the issues other people seem to be having with these, and I can’t be more satisfied with these for the price I paid.

Soft, yes, but PAINFUL!!
Soft yes, noise blocking, average for earplugs. HOWEVER...: I purchased these earplugs to wear so my cat doesn’t keep waking me up in the middle of the night. Im female and my ears camels are probably on the smaller side. After a few nights of using them I started getting acne? Or it could of been raw skin? in my ear canal (never had it there, and I do clean my ears regularly) The next days I would have a very slight burning painful areas where the earplugs sit. Then after a few more nights I was waking up in middle of the night with intense inner ear throbbing. I suspect it was caused by a lack of blood circulation. I used them a few more nights to see if I would adjust (maybe about 10 days total), and still was experiencing this inner ear throbbing regularly but the raw burning sensation went away. Never had an issue with my ears like this in my life. I think these particular earplugs might be better suited for use by men who have larger ear openings. The expansion action on this material is strong, and I could see my experience being an issue with lack of blood flow because of this. I wonder though if there could be some chemical in the material causing the problem, there’s no way for me to easily know that for sure. If you’re a woman or someone with small ears I suggest to try a different brand.

These are good for short term noise cancellation
Many years ago I got 'addicted' to earplugs and can't fall asleep without them. These are a tremendous value for the money and work really well at the gun range or mowing the lawn etc... But they make my ear canal itchy when I sleep with them. The Hearo's blue ear plugs never made my ear itchy. I do have sensitive skin so it's probably just me and nothing to do with the ear plugs. Using them for a few hours is not a problem though. Unfortunately I can't use them for sleeping.

Comfortable but Don't insert too far!
These are very comfortable and I would buy them again, but be careful because as they expand they could hurt your ears if you place them in too far. I learned that the hard way. Just place the tip in slightly and you fill them expand. Smush the tips and gently insert just the tip.

The best!
I’ve been wearing earplugs for sleep for nearly ten years and until now just used whatever the local store had in the pharmacy or sporting section, but these are much better! They squish down to a really small tight roll and expand slowly so that I have time to get them in, and they do a superior job of blocking sound as well as being comfortable. I don’t bother with a lot of Amazon reviews but these really are better than any I’ve found elsewhere and I’m glad I took a risk trying them.

Just a decent earplug
I've been wearing earplugs for 25 years, so know a thing or two about them. My favorite earplugs, Mack's ultra soft, for some strange reason, decided to change the way that they make them. They were the best! Now, you might as well wear nothing because that's exactly what they do, nothing. So bummed! So I decided to give Soft Sleeping earplugs a try. They hurt my ears the first night I wore them. So much so, that I had to remove them. After some adjustments, the discomfort with them is now minor or not at all on a nightly basis. I'm a pretty light sleeper and the noise cancellation for these earplugs is just OK. Decent earplug but I'm not sure that I would buy them again.

Can’t hear noisy children
I travel quite a bit so I use these when staying in hotel rooms, they’re so comfortable that Noe use them at home as well. Excellent for blocking children on planes. And we all know that children on planes are the scourge of the modern world.

Good Earplugs
I always sleep with earplugs. My husband snores, and we currently have road construction all around us. I also have some sensory issues, and I use earplugs at the movies and when I cannot tune out noises in public. These are the highest decibels I have found, and they do not hurt my ears. I've used other brands and sometimes they cause pain after sleeping, or leave color dye in my ear canals. I do not have any of these issues with this particular plug. I would highly recommend them.
